The Green Bay Packers season ended with their loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs, kicking off what is likely to be a drama-filled offseason, which is exactly what happened last offseason. Back then, Rodgers started the drama but returned to lead the Packers for the 2021 season.
There just might be some actual movement of Rodgers this offseason, even though the franchise would love to have him back.
According to a new report, no matter where the future Hall of Famer is playing, Rodgers wants two of his weapons with him:
“It’s tough to get a feel as to what Rodgers wants to do at this point,” Pauline wrote. “I can tell you wherever he ends up, Rodgers has told people in confidence he wants receivers Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling by his side. When asked about his future, Rodgers left the door open on all scenarios.”
Davante Adams has long been his top receiver while Marquez Caldes-Scantling hasn’t put up big numbers but has Rodgers’ confidence. Both are set to become free agents this offseason. It is expected that the Packers will franchise tag Adams and pay him $22 million.

Earlier this week, a report emerged suggesting Rodgers and Adams “would love” to team up and play for the Denver Broncos.
