It’s almost impossible to be in Florida and not hit a strip club. It’s so many of them that you may walk into one accidentally.
According to Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson of the Pat and Aaron Show on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620 in Tampa, several Florida Panthers players were out partying at a strip club on Sunday night. The problem with that is that the team had just lost 5-1 in Game 3 of their second-round Stanley Cup Playoff series to the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena on Sunday.
According to “a very good source, … a lot” of Panthers players were out late into the night. “Until at least 2:45. It could have been later, that’s when the source got the information.”
”The text at around 2:40 [AM] said something along the lines of ‘we just got a bottle and we’re leaving,’” the hosts continued on the radio show.
On Monday, the Panthers would go on to score zero goals and get swept by the Lightning.
The Lightning outscored the Panthers 13-3 in the four-game sweep.
