One of the most interesting rumors to fly around the combine in Indianapolis is the rumored interest of the San Francisco 49ers and their willingness to want and trade for Odell Beckham Jr.
Giants general manager Dave Gettlemen threw some cold water on any rumors when he stated otherwise on the Giants willingness to trade their biggest asset.
“We didn’t sign Odell Beckham to trade him. I know that’s all over the place right now, but we didn’t sign him to trade him. That’s all I need to say about that,” Gettleman said in late February.
Despite those comments, NFL Draft Scout Matt Miller took to Twitter on Monday and put more gas to the flames of OBJ possibly making his exit when he suggested the 49ers are a real threat to acquire the NFL all-pro.
Odell may have gotten an extension, but with the reality of the Giants being in full rebuild mode, it is likely the team would want to get as much as they can to make this total re-haul as painless as possible.
