The San Francisco 49ers are desperately trying to improve their QB position.
According to Joe Person, the 49ers are one of many teams that have reached out to the Carolina Panthers about QB Teddy Bridgewater.
The Panthers haven’t actually shied away from their intention to move on from Bridgewater as the disgruntled QB has recently unfollowed them on Instagram amid their actions. Not only that, the front office included him in a trade offer to obtain Matt Stafford.
Person added that the team isn’t in a rush to move Bridgewater until they find a replacement. The Panthers signed Bridgewater to a three-year, $63 million contract last March.
Last season, Bridgewater recorded 3,733 yards, 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 15 games played.
He also rushed for 279 yards and five touchdowns.
