Two early front-runners have emerged to land Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Cooper Kupp in a blockbuster trade.
On Monday, the 31-year-old Kupp announced in an X/Twitter post that the Rams informed him they’re “seeking a trade immediately,” adding the two sides will work together on a trade destination.
Cooper Kupp has spent his entire eight-year career with the Rams, leading them to a Super Bowl 56 championship in the 2021 season. Kupp was named SB MVP after catching eight passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA.

According to the DraftKings sportsbook, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals are the early co-favorites to land Cooper Kupp in a trade at +500. The Washington Commanders, New England Patriots, Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos share the second-best odds at +600.
The Steelers desperately need another playmaking receiver to help George Pickens, and the Bengals could be in the market for another WR if they lose Tee Higgins in free agency. With both teams usually in playoff contention, they certainly make sense as players for Kupp.
In 12 games during the 2024 regular season, Kupp caught 67 passes for 710 yards and six touchdowns. He has 634 career receptions for 7,776 yards and 57 touchdowns.

Cooper Kupp Should Have Plenty Of Interested Suitors
Unfortunately, injuries and age have prevented Kupp from coming anywhere close to the dream 2021 season, during which he captured the triple crown of receiving (145 catches, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns).
But a healthy Kupp is still a 1,000-yard threat, and his championship pedigree should make him attractive to just about any playoff contender looking to upgrade their WR room.
