Brian Robinson is counting his blessings after being shot multiple times over the weekend.
Washington Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson, Jr. was shot Sunday in Washington, DC, in what authorities believe may have been an attempted robbery or carjacking. He suffered two gunshot wounds to his lower extremities and was taken to a local hospital.
On Monday, TMZ got hold of some footage that showed Robinson on the ground and being tended to after being shot.

Commanders head coach Ron Rivera told reporters on Monday morning that Robinson is “in a really good place,” per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Robinson shared a photo on his Instagram from what appears to be a hospital room, writing “Surgery went well! Thanks for all the prayers! God is Great!”

Robinson Jr. was drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of the University of Alabama. He did not play in the team’s final preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday night.
