Footage has now been released of the arrest of Marshawn Lynch and it does not paint him in the best light.
New details appear to have emerged in the arrest of former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, with the authorities alleging that the five-time Pro Bowler told them “that he stole the vehicle” he was in.
The former NFL running back could be seen sleeping in his disabled car as cops came upon him in Las Vegas. He would soon be dragged out of his car by the hood of his sweatshirt and forcibly thrown to the ground during his DUI arrest.
The officers can be heard in the video asking Lynch repeatedly to step out of the car, but he refused as he asked over and over again why he had to leave the vehicle.
While on the ground, cops could be heard yelling, “Roll over. Hands behind your back. No more games today.”

The 36-year-old Super Bowl champ was also uncooperative at the station as they “had to use a restraint chair” to draw blood from him after obtaining a search warrant.
Lynch is reportedly facing charges of failure/refusing to surrender proof of security, unregistered vehicle, and failure to drive in a travel lane.
“The LVMPD conducted a vehicle stop at Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Avenue (near Wyoming and Las Vegas BLVD) on a driver, later identified as Marshawn Lynch, for suspected driver impairment,” Las Vegas police said in a statement this week. “Through the course of the investigation, officers determined that Lynch was impaired and conducted an arrest. Lynch was transported to the Las Vegas City Jail and booked for driving under the influence.”
Lynch’s arrest came roughly 24 hours after the Seahawks announced that he had been hired as a special correspondent for the organization during the 2022-23 season.
