Reggie Bush is getting sick and tired of watching how the Eagles are playing Jalen Hurts during games.
The former Alabama and Oklahoma star was brought in during Thursday Night Football for a predictable read-option play that was sniffed out as soon as the rookie ran on to the field.
Bush had seen enough and promptly called out the team on Twitter:
“[The] Eagles need to stop bringing Jalen Hurts in for that very predictable play. Everybody knows it’s going to be read-option,” Bush commented during the Thursday Night game. “But this isn’t college football anymore you’re [sic] going to get him injured.”
After struggling for much of the evening, Wentz led a pair of touchdown drives in the fourth quarter and put the Eagles ahead with a beauty of a pass to running back Boston Scott for an 18-yard score with 40 seconds left.
Wentz finished 25-of-43 for 359 yards with three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) and an interception.
