This poor ref never saw it coming.
During the game between the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions at AT&T Stadium, a ref was trying to make a call when a football got thrown at his head.
Despite getting hit in the head, head referee Adrian Hill continued to make the call. And he was also very reasonable about it all, as he refused to give Jamaal Williams a penalty—fully knowing that he didn’t do it on purpose.
It’s surprising that Williams didn’t receive a flag for this and get ejected from the game, considering how often we’ve seen these refs hand out penalties for much less.
Good on Adrian Hill for being able to take one off the noggin and laugh it off.
