The buzz surrounding Ron Rivera and where he will end up is starting to get clearer.
According to multiple reports, Rivera and the Washington Redskins are expected to meet on Monday and hopefully have a deal done by then, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The 57-year-old spent the past nine years as the Panthers head coach before they decided to part ways with him before the end of their 2019 season. He had compiled a record of 76-63-1, which includes four playoff appearances and a trip to the Super Bowl.
Rivera was also named the AP coach of the year twice.
He would be a major upgrade to the Washington Redskins who are in desperate need of his leadership.
