Darrell Green is no longer remaining silent.
Earlier this month, Asante Samuel completely disrespected Darrell Green, who was was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008, for no apparent reason.
The retired NFL cornerback questioned why Green was considered a great and then pointed out how long he played the game and his lack of interceptions during that time span.
Green finally responded to Samuel’s scorching hot take in a video with TMZ Sports as he joked that he wouldn’t recognize Samuel if they met face-to-face.
“If Asante Samuel walked up right now, I wouldn’t know his face,” Green said. “Truthfully I don’t think I’ve ever met him. I don’t know his face if he walked up.”
