Jordan Reed might not be allowed back on the field in 2020 after an injury he suffered in 2019.
The Washington Redskins still remains in concussion protocol from an injury suffered back in August before the regular season started, and he’s still not cleared to get on the field.
The 29-year old did not step on the field last season and the expectation is that the Redskins will eventually cut him from the roster.
That would save the team $8.5 million on the salary cap. He is entitled to any money in 2020 because his contract is not guaranteed.
Reed has two years left on his contract.
