A certain NFL team is believed to be open to trading its head coach in the coming offseason.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, people around the league reckon that Titans coach Mike Vrabel could be willing to head elsewhere in 2024, while the team is also not averse to the idea of a trade.
“There are people around the league who think that either Vrabel would be open to be moved to another team or that the Titans would be open to moving him — maybe both,” Schefter wrote this week. “Vrabel publicly has said he wants to remain in Tennessee, but others have wondered how content he is.”
Vrabel stated his desire to remain in Tennessee past the end of the current season just a few days ago.
“Of course, I want to be here,” he said. “Be here as long as we can win, as long as we can do this thing, and it’s been great. But it also has been just this year. And nobody wants to be where we’re at.”
Vrabel’s 53-45 record over the last six years suggests he would have no problem slotting in as the head coach of another team. The Patriots are thought to be one of the franchises that would be interested should he become available.
