Cris Collinsworth isn’t in the booth for ‘Sunday Night Football’ on NBC tonight, and fans are none too pleased with his replacement.
The former Bengals wide receiver didn’t join partner Mike Tirico for the matchup featuring the Ravens and Chargers, with Jason Garrett filling in.
Of course, many of you are likely wondering why that is. Well, the 64-year-old didn’t get to spend all of Thanksgiving with his family as he was on the call for the 49ers-Seahawks game on Thursday, so he’s got the night off so he could spend the rest of the Thanksgiving weekend with them, except for his son Jac, who’s working tonight’s game.
Collinsworth has some work to put in at home as he accidentally bought $800 worth of fish for Thanksgiving last week. It appears the family needs to get rid of it as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, Tirico has confirmed the above, aalthough some did notice that Cris’ son Jac was working the game..
