Getting drafted by the Buffalo Bills seems a lot more appealing than it’s been in previous years.
For one, the team is seemingly on the cusp of breaking through and finally winning a Super Bowl. Playing for Buffalo also means getting to play with one of the league’s best quarterbacks in Josh Allen. The team also boasts the NFL’s best defense from 2021, and they have one of the most loyal fanbases in all of sports.
While all of those things make playing for the Bills seem like a treat, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows…literally.
The Buffalo climate is among the worst in America. And it’s also not the most happening city. Georgia running back James Cook must be aware of these downsides to playing in upstate New York, as he didn’t seem all that pleased when the Bills used their second round pick, 63rd overall, to add him to their offense.
At one point, it appears as though Cook is yelling at someone at his draft party. Perhaps that’s what got him upset, and not being the newest member of the Bills?
Either way, if he can help this team get over the hump and win that elusive Lombardi Trophy, I’m sure all parties will be happy about this partnership.
