Tony Jefferson has been a steady role player for the majority of his career, but it could’ve been so much more if he had made crucial decision when he entered the league.
On Wednesday night, the Baltimore Ravens’ safety revealed on Twitter that he stopped wearing his glasses years ago.
“I can’t even lie – I stopped wearing my glasses years ago and that might’ve been the dumbest thing I’ve done. I can see so much clearer and further with my glasses It’s wild,” Jefferson wrote.
The internet has been having a field day with this one. As it should.

The Baltimore Ravens announced earlier this year they re-signed Jefferson after his solid performance down the stretch last season. Set to enter his ninth NFL season in 2022, Jefferson spent the first four years of his career with the Arizona Cardinals and then starred for the Ravens from 2017-19.
In four games with the Ravens, Jefferson totaled 17 tackles, including a team-high 10 tackles in Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 30-year-old also saw action on special teams.
