Ben Roethlisberger had one more video tribute from a rival team. And, while it wasn’t your typical tribute, you can bet that Big Ben wouldn’t have them do it any other way.
M&T Bank Stadium ran highlights of Roethlisberger getting sacked multiple times during today’s AFC North showdown between the hometown Ravens and the visiting Steelers. The tribute video was not only a great way for a rival team to show a longtime enemy some love, but it was also meant to try and fire up the Ravens players, as both they and the Steelers were playing for their playoff lives.
It WOULD have been a great way to send Roethlisberger off into retirement, but it only seemed to motivate Big Ben and the Steelers, instead. And they were able to use that motivation to cap off a comeback victory in overtime.
With the win, Big Ben finishes with a 16-10 record against the Ravens. So the Baltimore fan base won’t be sad to see him go.
