If you ever wondered exactly what fellow NFL players across the league thought about Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Eli Apple, look no further than the treatment he’s been receiving on social media ever since getting beaten by Cooper Kupp fo the game-wining touchdown in Super Bowl LVI.
In all fairness to Apple, Kupp has beaten pretty much every cornerback he’s come up against this year. And it was also a play from the Bengals’ one-yard line. But that hasn’t stopped fellow NFLers from roasting Eli on Twitter afterwards.

Then it was Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas who tagged himself in and threw some shade at his former teammate.
And now it didn’t stop there. Next up was a trio of Ravens players who clearly have it out for their division rival.

Rookie wide receiver Rashod Bateman began with a simple apple emoji, which caught the attention of star teammates Marquise Brown and Lamar Jackson.
It was a pretty rough afternoon overall for Apple, who was beat on both of Kupp’s touchdown in the game. Both were obviously costly for Cincy, as they fell to the Rams, 23-20.
