Aaron Rodgers may have made his decision that will affect two franchises, but the Baltimore Ravens are still dealing with their issues with Lamar Jackson.
Jackson is now eligible to talk with other teams about a contract offer. Meanwhile, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Ravens have done some homework on free-agent quarterbacks to allow themselves some “flexibility.”
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Baltimore has “been involved” with checking out Baker Mayfield and Jacoby Brissett.
Unfortunately for them, former Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, who was with the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams last season, has signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brissett is also off the board as signed with the Washington Commanders.

Baltimore used the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson last week as both sides could not come to terms on a new deal, which is reportedly a fully guaranteed one that Jackson wants.
If a team makes an offer sheet to the 2019 NFL MVP, the Ravens have the right to match it. Throughout the negotiation process, there have been rumors about the amount of money Jackson is looking for, what he has been offered, and what teams are interested. On Tuesday, Jackson seemingly cleared the air about one report.
Jackson quote tweeted a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Jackson turned down a $200 million guaranteed deal last year.
He said, “133/3 years fully guaranteed [side eye emoji] but I need an agent?” with a laughing and a face palm emoji at the end of his message.
The 26-year-old and the franchise have until July 17 to come to a long-term agreement.
