Jalen Hurts could very well make it 3-straight years that former Oklahoma quarterbacks have been taken in Round 1 of the NFL Draft come Thursday night.
Hurts, who played one season with the Sooners following three at Alabama, is now being connected to two teams who have starters in place but seem interested in him selecting him.
NBC Sports NFL insider Peter King has Hurts connected to two teams ahead of the start of the draft.
“Teams that could take quarterback Jalen Hurts: Baltimore (55), Atlanta (47).”
Hurts could be a phenomenal backup for Lamar Jackson, while Atlanta could be setting the stage for them to move on from Matt Ryan soon.
The 2020 NFL Draft is set to begin on Thursday night.
