New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen has gone on record to state running back Saquon Barkley is “a guy we’d like to have back” ahead of the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
However, it seems Saquon’s time with the Giants is coming to an end.
The Baltimore Ravens enter this offseason with a need at running back, with both Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins hitting free agency. As a result, it has been reported that they might use free agency to address their need at running back by seeking a “player with pedigree.”
That could very well be Saquon Barkley.
Per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, a member of the Ravens’ executive pool is most interested in Barkley in Baltimore and the possibility of having him on a team with quarterback Lamar Jackson.
“Could you imagine Saquon Barkley and Lamar Jackson in the same backfield for the running game?”

Barkley was tagged by the New York Giants last season before the two parties agreed to a one-year, $10 million deal.
The former Penn State Nittany Lion responded with a 962-yard season off of 247 carries and six touchdowns. He also contributed 41 catches for 280 yards and four more scores.
The former No. 2 overall pick back in the 2018 NFL Draft has garnered 5,211 yards and 35 touchdowns on 1,201 carries and 288 catches 2,100 receiving yards and 12 more scores.
