This is not the best way to lose your job.
Jordan Lasley fought with teammate Cyrus Jones on Monday during training camp.
According to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, Lasley wasn’t happy about Jones high shot during press coverage, so he responded by punching him and he got tackled by teammate Bennett Jackson to stop the fight.
Lasley caught a touchdown pass on his next rep, but would respond by throwing the football into a nearby pond. That did not go over well with the Ravens staff.
On Wednesday, Lasley no longer had a job after the Ravens released him from the roster.
Head coach John Harbaugh cleared up any confusion when he confirmed the release had little to do with the fight and throwing of the football into the pond.

Lasley was a fifth-round pick in 2018, but did not see the field during the season.
