The Baltimore Ravens have added a wide receiver ahead of their important divisional-round clash against the Houston Texans.
The team has announced the acquisition of Laquon Treadwell as a replacement for Tarik Black on their practice squad. The wideout has spent time with the Ravens this season, appearing in five games for the AFC supremos.
He caught one pass for 16 yards.
Treadwell, 28, was drafted as the 23rd overall pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2016 and spent four seasons with them. He’s since represented the Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals (practice squad), and Seattle Seahawks.
The WR has made 81 appearances in the NFL, registering 111 receptions for a total of 1,242 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Ravens are scheduled to play the Texans in Sunday’s divisional round after resting last weekend on account of their topping the AFC. The winner of the upcoming matchup will play in the AFC Championship game next weekend.
