Despite many reports saying a deal was done with Aaron Rodgers being traded to the New York Jets, the quarterback remains on Green Bay’s roster on the first day of free agency.
After months and months of discussions and rumors, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has still not come to a final decision. Rodgers’ future with the Packers looks iffy, although some of his teammates in Green Bay are holding out hope that he might return.
Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas tweeted a picture of himself and Rodgers walking in the tunnel that added more fuel to an already growing fire.
His tweet came after Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner and wide receiver Garrett Wilson showed their excitement.

If the deal does go down, Rodgers will be headed to the Jets to join an offense that includes Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson Elijah Moore, and a reunion with former Packers OC Nathaniel Hackett.
After the Packers missed the playoffs, all signs pointed to a major change. The former NFL MVP finished the year with 3,695 yards and 26 touchdowns along with a QB rating of 91.1, but the offense took a major step back without Davante Adams on the team, who got traded to the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Jets’ Super Bowl odds will likely skyrocket with his addition, while the Packers would likely go into rebuild mode.
