Before Joe Burrow ever became Cincinnati’s new football hero, he was just a young kid showing off his skills at a very young age and dominating while doing so.
Karin Johnson of WLWT in Cincinnati shared an awesome video to Twitter of the Bengals star Burrow’s youth football days.
Fast forward to now and the former No. 1 overall pick has led a franchise to its first playoff win in 31 years. When the Bengals play at the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, it will be Cincinnati’s first AFC Championship Game appearance in 33 years.
To get them there Burrow completed 28-of-37 passes for 348 yards and an interception in a 19-16 win over the Titans in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. He did so in the face of being sacked nine times, and although he didn’t throw any touchdowns, he acclimated himself nicely in his two playoff contests.
