Snoop Dogg has told Pete Carroll exactly where he should coach following the decision by the Seahawks to move him upstairs.
Carroll, who was the head coach in Seattle for 13 seasons, has been pushed into an advisory role but is still looking to coach and was keen on landing the Chargers job before Jim Harbaugh was hired.
Snoop and Carroll are good friends, with the rapper a longtime admirer of the coach, whom he supported throughout his time at USC. Speaking on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ this week, he suggested that the 72-year-old should return to the program.
“You know what’s crazy? When he got pushed away, I was the first person to call him,” he said. “He still has the coaching bug and he’s not done doing what he’s doing. What I would like to see Pete do is go back to USC and restore order.”
Of course, that won’t be happening anytime soon given that Lincoln Riley is still around. But it could be a possibility in the future.
