The last thing Adrian Peterson needs to be doing is losing any money, given his financial situation.
However, he still decided to play in a Celebrity Poker Tour event held inside the PokerGO Studio.
Broadcasting on PokerGO and the Celebrity Poker Tour YouTube channel, the action got underway weeks ago and pitted many celebrities against one another.
The list of players included Ninja, Sketch, Jorge Masvidal, Henry Cejudo, Lil Pump, Mario Chalmers, Mike Bibby, Jose Canseco, and former NFL MVP running back Adrian Peterson.
There was a 59-entry field at ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas, and it certainly had its high-stakes moments.
Rapper Lil Pump, who reportedly does not know how to play the game, had a fantastic moment against the 2012 NFL Most Valuable Player.
Lil Pump, playing in his first-ever poker game, somehow had a full house against Adrian Peterson’s flush.

Adrian Peterson Ordered to Hand Over Assets to Pay Off Debt
Former NFL running back Adrian Peterson has been going through a ton of financial issues over the years.
It continued in 2024 when a Texas judge ordered him to turn over personal assets to help pay a debt that had ballooned to more than $12 million.
A court-appointed receiver had been seeking to collect money from Peterson as part of a judgment from a lawsuit filed against him over a $5.2 million loan he failed to repay to a Pennsylvania lending company.
The interest and fees have resulted in the debt doubling.
Adrian Peterson made seven Pro Bowls during 10 years with the Vikings.
Peterson’s 14,918 career yards is fifth in NFL history.
