As the 2024 NFL season reaches its midpoint, the league’s wide receivers have emerged as critical playmakers, some electrifying fans with game-changing performances while others search for consistency.
Let’s dive in and rank every team’s top option from number 32 to 1!
Who are the top-ranking wide receivers in the NFL after week 8?
32. New England Patriots: DeMario Douglas (Last Week #26)
Week 8 was a tough one for DeMario Douglas, as he didn’t get many looks at all. He caught just two passes for 12 yards.
31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Rakim Jarret (Not Ranked)
With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out, Rakim Jarret became the de facto number-one option for the Bucs. He had a decent afternoon, catching three passes for 58 yards.

This was one of Christian Kirk’s better games of the season, and it still wasn’t anything to write home about. He finished with just two catches for 59 yards.
29. Indianapolis Colts: Michael Pittman Jr. (Last Week #16)
Michael Pittman Jr. was uncharacteristically quiet this week, catching just one pass for 16 yards in the loss.
28. Chicago Bears: DJ Moore (Last Week #20)
DJ Moore was egregiously quiet yet again this week. The Bears’ number one option caught just two passes for 27 yards in the loss.
27. Los Angeles Chargers: Joshua Palmer (Last Week #23)
Joshua Palmer only caught two passes on Sunday, but one of them was a bomb for 60 yards. He finished with 72 yards total.

26. Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill (Last Week #25)
With Tua back, we’re starting to see a reemergence of Tyreek Hill. He broke his slump with 72 receiving yards, giving Miami a deep threat that kept Arizona’s defense honest.
25. Las Vegas Raiders: Jakobi Meyers (Not Ranked)
The Raiders’ offense looked much better with Jakobi Meyers back in the lineup. He caught six of seven targets for 52 yards and a score this week.
24. Kansas City Chiefs: Xavier Worthy (Last Week #22)
Xavier Worthy didn’t have huge numbers, snagging four of six catches for 37 yards, but at least he managed to find his way into the end zone for a touchdown.
23. Seattle Seahawks: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Not Ranked)
With DK Metcalf sidelined, Jaxon Smith-Njigba stepped up nicely, catching six of seven targets for 69 yards. However, the offense lacked the usual spark without Metcalf.
22. Carolina Panthers: Jalen Coker (Not Ranked)
With trade rumors swirling around Diontae Johnson, he was mysteriously held out of the lineup this week due to injury, making Jalen Coker the number-one option. Coker fared well, snagging four of six targets for 78 yards and a touchdown.
21. Tennessee Titans: Calvin Ridley (Last Week #31)
This was the Calvin Ridley Titans fans have been waiting for all season, unfortunately, in a blowout loss. Ridley delivered, matching a career-high 10 catches and piling up 143 yards as Rudolph’s go-to target all game.
20. Denver Broncos: Courtland Sutton (Last Week #27)
Courtland Sutton had one of his best games of the season, hauling in eight of 11 targets for 100 yards on the nose.
19. Buffalo Bills: Keon Coleman (Last Week #19)
Keon Coleman took a backseat to Khalil Shakir this week but still managed a productive day, catching five of seven targets for 70 yards and one touchdown.
18. Atlanta Falcons: Drake London (Last Week #5)
Drake London had a quiet afternoon despite the offensive flurry from the Falcons, finishing the game with four catches for 34 yards.
17. Green Bay Packers: Romeo Doubs (Last Week #8)
Romeo Doubs had himself a nice game, snagging three catches for 72 yards in the Packers’ win.
16. San Francisco 49ers: Deebo Samuel (Not Ranked)
With Brandon Aiyuk out for the season, Deebo Samuel is going to have to shoulder a lot of the load going forward. He proved in Week 8 that he’s up for it, turning seven targets into four catches for 71 yards.
15. New York Giants: Malik Nabers (Not Ranked)
Malik Nabers has been one of the top rookies to watch this year, regardless of position. His presence on the field completely changes the Giants’ offense. He snagged seven catches for 71 yards on Monday Night Football.
14. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr. (Last Week #28)
Marvin Harrison Jr. is starting to look like the playmaker Arizona has been craving. He torched the Dolphins’ defense for 111 yards and a touchdown.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers: George Pickens (Last Week #11)
George Pickens looks like a different player with Russell Wilson under center. This might be the spark the Steelers have been waiting for with Pickens. Four catches for 74 yards, and it easily could’ve been more as he had two big touchdown catches called back.
12. Detroit Lions: Amon-Ra St. Brown (Last Week #4)
Even without Jameson Williams, Detroit’s receiving corps didn’t miss a beat. Brown was quiet today with just two catches for seven yards, but one was a touchdown!
11. Houston Texans: Stefon Diggs (Last Week #14)
Stefon Diggs led the way for Texans receivers this week despite leaving the game early with an injury. The Texans’ number one option snagged five catches for 81 yards in the win.
10. New Orleans Saints: Chris Olave (Not Ranked)
New Orleans had to be pumped to have Chris Olave back in the fold. Their true number one caught eight of 14 targets for 107 yards.
9. Baltimore Ravens: Zay Flowers (Last Week #9)
Zay Flowers had his chances, including two big throws in the end zone on the final drive, but couldn’t quite connect. That said, his seven catches for 115 yards were impressive.
8. Los Angeles Rams: Puka Nacua (Not Ranked)
The Rams’ offense looks completely different, with Puka Nacua back in the lineup. Nacua had seven catches for 106 yards, providing Stafford with reliable, explosive options to stretch the field.
7. Cincinnati Bengals: Ja'Marr Chase (Last Week #6)
Ja’Marr Chase was his usual electric self early, scoring on the opening drive, but without Tee Higgins, the rest of the game lacked pop. Still, nine catches for 54 yards and a score is nothing to scoff at.
6. Cleveland Browns: Cedric Tillman (Last Week #15)
What an afternoon for Cedric Tillman! The cherry on top was his game-winning TD, complementing a big 22-yarder earlier in the third.
5. Philadelphia Eagles: A.J. Brown (Last Week #2)
Five catches for 84 yards is a modest afternoon for A.J. Brown but impressive by nearly everyone else’s standards. He’s a steady force for the Eagles, keeping defenses honest.
4. New York Jets: Garrett Wilson (Last Week #12)
Garrett Wilson showed his big-play potential with 113 yards on five catches, giving Rodgers a reliable downfield target and really shining amidst the Jets’ dysfunction.
3. Washington Commanders: Terry McLaurin (Last Week #3)
Terry McLaurin is starting to thrive with Jayden Daniels under center. He hauled in five catches for 125 yards in the dramatic win over Chicago.
2. Minnesota Vikings: Justin Jefferson (Last Week #1)
As per usual, Justin Jefferson was a standout with eight receptions for 115 yards, including some spectacular grabs to keep Minnesota in contention.
1. Dallas Cowboys: CeeDee Lamb (Last Week #7)
CeeDee Lamb had a monster game on Sunday Night Football against the 49ers, snagging 13 receptions for 146 yards and two scores.
