The modern NFL has shown us just how pivotal wide receivers are in shaping offenses. In today’s league, receivers are more than just pass-catchers. They’re tone-setters and game-breakers.
Let’s take a look around the league and see how every team’s top option stacks up this year from 32 to 1!
Who are the top-ranking wide receivers in the NFL after week 12?
32. Los Angeles Chargers: Joshua Palmer (Last Week: #30)
Joshua Palmer is, unfortunately, not a number-one option kind of wide receiver. He has an ability to stretch the field, but the consistency just hasn’t been there.
31. Cleveland Browns: Cedric Tillman (Last Week: #23)
Cedric Tillman was quiet on Thursday Night Football, taking a back seat to Jerry Jeudy. He finished with just two catches for 28 yards.
30. San Francisco 49ers: Deebo Samuel (Last Week: #28)

Deebo Samuel had a frustrating day, highlighted by a dropped pass that led to an interception and a holding penalty that erased his 87-yard kickoff return, not to mention his lonely one catch for 21 yards.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars (bye): Brian Thomas Jr. (Last Week: #25)
Brian Thomas Jr. has shown flashes of potential, but the rookie can only do so much in a sputtering offense, especially with Trevor Lawrence banged up and potentially missing the remainder of the season.
28. Green Bay Packers: Romeo Doubs (Last Week: #29)
Romeo Doubs had a modest afternoon despite leading the Packers’ wide receivers with three catches for 54 yards.
27. Las Vegas Raiders: Jakobi Meyers (Last Week: #31)
Jakobi Meyers had one of his best games of the year, snagging an impressive 10 receptions for 121 yards.

26. Buffalo Bills (bye): Amari Cooper (Last Week: #24)
Amari Cooper hasn’t made the splash many expected since joining the Bills, but his presence alone commands attention from opposing defenses. Once he is fully healthy, he should be a welcomed addition to the Buffalo offense.
25. Carolina Panthers: Xavier Legette (Last Week: #26)
Xavier Legette was good but not great on Sunday, hauling in four catches for 56 yards against a tough Chiefs secondary.
24. Kansas City Chiefs: DeAndre Hopkins (Last Week: #27)
DeAndre Hopkins turned in another reliable performance, finding the end zone and continuing to prove that he was a valuable addition to the Chiefs’ offensive arsenal.
23. New England Patriots: DeMario Douglas (Last Week: #20)
DeMario Douglas led the way for New England’s wide receivers, albeit with a relatively pedestrian 62 yards on five catches.
22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mike Evans (Last Week: Not Ranked)
Tampa Bay has to be happy to have Mike Evans back in the lineup. The veteran receiver hauled in five catches for 68 yards in the win, adding an element that was missing in weeks past.
21. Dallas Cowboys: CeeDee Lamb (Last Week: #22)
CeeDee Lamb saw a lot of volume today, hauling in 10 of 12 targets, but with Cooper Rush under center, he couldn’t really stretch the field and finished with just 67 yards.
20. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr. (Last Week: #18)
Week 12 marked another uninspiring performance for Marvin Harrison Jr., who caught three passes for 47 yards.
19. Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill (Last Week: #12)
Tyreek Hill took a backseat to his running mate, Jaylen Waddle, this week, finishing with just five catches for 48 yards.
18. New York Giants: Malik Nabers (Last Week: #17)
Malik Nabers led the way for Giants wide receivers, catching six of nine targets from Tommy DeVito for 64 yards.
17. Chicago Bears: DJ Moore (Last Week: #21)
DJ Moore had, far and away, his best game of the year, which has to be a breath of fresh air for Bears fans who have been desperate to see him develop a connection with Caleb Williams. He finished the contest with seven catches for 106 yards and a touchdown.
16. Indianapolis Colts: Michael Pittman Jr. (Last Week: #19)
Michael Pittman Jr. had one of his better games of the season, hauling in six of seven targets for 96 yards.
15. New York Jets (bye): Garrett Wilson (Last Week: #16)
He has had a couple of stinkers, but overall, Garrett Wilson has been having a great year, despite the chaos swirling around this disappointing Jets season.
14. Seattle Seahawks: DK Metcalf (Last Week: #13)
DK Metcalf played second fiddle this week to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The big man caught four passes for 59 yards.
13. Atlanta Falcons (bye): Drake London (Last Week: #15)
Drake London has had a solid year, but with his size and skill, London should be a bigger focal point. The Falcons need to find ways to get him involved more consistently.
12. Pittsburgh Steelers: George Pickens (Last Week: #8)
George Pickens was a little bit quiet compared to his recent standards but managed to contribute four catches for 48 yards.
11. Baltimore Ravens: Zay Flowers (Last Week: #14)
Zay Flowers has quietly been having a very impressive year, as he’s carved out a nice role in this Ravens offense and provided one of the more dynamic wide receivers options they’ve had in some time.
10. Minnesota Vikings: Justin Jefferson (Last Week: #3)
Certainly not the kind of showing we are used to seeing out of Justin Jefferson, who took a major backseat to Jordan Addison this week. He finished with just two catches for 27 yards.
9. New Orleans Saints (bye): Marquez Valdes-Scantling (Last Week: #10)
Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been a boom-or-bust player, capable of game-changing plays but often disappearing for stretches. That said, it has at least been more boom than bust lately!
8. Tennessee Titans: Calvin Ridley (Last Week: #9)
Though he didn’t find the end zone, Calvin Ridley had a big game, hauling in five catches for 93 yards in the win.
7. Detroit Lions: Amon-Ra St. Brown (Last Week: #2)
Amon-Ra St. Brown was relatively quiet this week, as the Lions relied mostly on their rushing attack, but he still managed six catches for 62 yards.
6. Washington Commanders: Terry McLaurin (Last Week: #11)
Terry McLaurin was nearly the hero on Sunday with his 86-yard touchdown in the closing minutes, but that play will now be forgotten thanks to the missed extra point. Still, 102 yards and a score on five catches is not a bad day for one of the NFL’s best wide receivers.
5. Los Angeles Rams: Puka Nacua (Last Week: #4)
Puka Nacua continues to shine, leading the way with nine catches for 117 yards. His ability to create separation and make tough catches has been a huge boost for L.A. since he returned from injury.
4. Denver Broncos: Courtland Sutton (Last Week: #7)
Another big week for Courtland Sutton, who is really trending in the right direction of late. He hauled in eight catches for 97 yards and two scores in the win.
3. Houston Texans: Nico Collins (Last Week: #6)
Nico Collins was a force to be reckoned with on Sunday, as the star wideout looks fully healthy again based on his five receptions for 92 yards and a score.
2. Philadelphia Eagles: A.J. Brown (Last Week: #5)
A.J. Brown continues to dominate, hauling in six catches for 109 yards and a touchdown. Whether he’s stretching the field or working the intermediate game, Brown is Hurts’ go-to weapon and a constant thorn in opposing secondaries.
1. Cincinnati Bengals (bye): Ja'Marr Chase (Last Week: #1)
Ja’Marr Chase continues to be the engine that drives the Bengals’ passing attack. As one of the league’s best wide receivers, his ability to make contested catches and turn routine plays into big gains makes him one of the best in the league.
