As we pass Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season, it’s clear that the wide receiver position is as electrifying as ever. Now it’s time to sort out the best from the rest.
Based on their year-to-date performances, ranking all 32 NFL Wide Receiver 1s from worst to first!
Who are the top-ranking wide receivers in the NFL after week 7 of games?
32. Las Vegas Raiders – DJ Turner (Last Week: #31)
The departure of Davante Adams was evident for the Raiders this week, as they were forced to turn to DJ Turner as their go-to guy. He rewarded them by making just two catches for 13 yards.
31. Tennessee Titans – Calvin Ridley (Last Week: #32)
Calvin Ridley is falling off the map in Tennessee. He managed just three catches for 42 yards in the loss.
30. New York Giants – Darius Slayton (Last Week: #18)

Brutal showing for Darius Slayton, along with the rest of the Giants’ offense, on Sunday. Slayton finished the contest with just one catch for 11 yards… Tough scene, to say the least.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars – Christian Kirk (Last Week: #27)
Christian Kirk continues to disappoint this year. He finished with just one catch for 24 yards on Sunday.
28. Arizona Cardinals – Marvin Harrison Jr. (Last Week: #30)
Marvin Harrison Jr. continues to be the epitome of boom or bust. The rookie receiver has shown a ton of ability, but he’ll have to get more consistent if he wants to be considered a bonafide number-one option.
27. Denver Broncos – Courtland Sutton (Last Week: #21)
Week 6 was a weird one for Courtland Sutton, who put up goose eggs despite the Broncos’ offensive outburst.
26. New England Patriots – DeMario Douglas (Last Week: #16)
DeMario Douglas wasn’t much of a factor as Drake Maye looked toward his tight end and running backs most of the afternoon. He finished with just two catches for 14 yards.
25. Miami Dolphins – Tyreek Hill (Last Week: #19)
It is amazing what a shell of himself Tyreek Hill is without Tua, as he finished with just one catch for eight yards.
24. Carolina Panthers – Diontae Johnson (Last Week: #20)
Diontae Johnson was essentially a nonfactor, along with the rest of the Panthers team in Week 7. He caught just one pass for 17 yards.
23. Los Angeles Chargers – Joshua Palmer (Last Week: #29)
Joshua Palmer has at least proven he can help stretch the field for Justin Herbert, but the Chargers need to add a real number-one receiver if they want to contend in today’s NFL.
22. Kansas City Chiefs – Xavier Worthy (Last Week: #10)
Xavier Worthy still has a lot of work to do if he is going to turn into the wide receiver 1 that the Chiefs need him to be to fill Rashee Rice’s shoes. The rookie receiver finished with just three catches for 19 yards as a result of some sloppy route running.
21. San Francisco 49ers – Brandon Aiyuk (Last Week: #24)
Considering all of the injuries that San Fran had coming in, the injury to Brandon Aiyuk was a particularly devastating blow for the Niners. He managed just two catches for 23 yards before getting chased from the game with an injury.
20. Chicago Bears (bye) – DJ Moore (Last Week: #22)
After arriving in Chicago with high expectations, Moore quickly showed he was the missing piece in the Bears’ offensive puzzle. With Caleb Williams taking over, the Bears need Moore to continue to rediscover that identity because he’s been a little bit inconsistent this year.
19. Buffalo Bills – Keon Coleman (Last Week: #26)
Keon Coleman seemed to be a beneficiary of the Amari Cooper acquisition, as the young NFL wide receiver had his best game of the year, hauling in four catches for 125 yards.
18. New Orleans Saints – Cedrick Wilson Jr. (Last Week: Not Ranked)
The absence of Chris Olave left a gaping hole in New Orleans’ offense. Wilson did a respectable job filling in, though most of his six catches, 57 yards, and the touchdown came in garbage time.
17. Los Angeles Rams – Tutu Atwell (Last Week: #17)
Tutu Atwell, unfortunately, is not a bonafide wide receiver 1, not by any stretch. That said, he did have a decent outing this week, securing six catches for 51 yards.
16. Indianapolis Colts – Michael Pittman Jr. (Last Week: #14)
It wasn’t his normal stat line, but Michael Pittman Jr. made his presence known and led the way for Indy with three catches and 63 yards in a gritty win.
15. Cleveland Browns – Cedric Tillman (Last Week: Not Ranked)
Following the Amari Cooper trade, Cedric Tillman was slotted into wide receiver 1 duties, and he managed nicely, catching eight of 12 targets from three quarterbacks for 81 yards.
14. Houston Texans – Stefon Diggs (Last Week: #11)
Stefon Diggs led the way for Texans receivers, but on this afternoon, that didn’t mean much, as he finished with just 23 yards on five catches.
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Mike Evans (Last Week: #12)
It might have been a tough Monday Night Football outing for Mike Evans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against a juggernaut Ravens team, but the man is a pro’s pro and still managed to find his way into the end zone.
12. New York Jets – Garrett Wilson (Last Week: #5)
Sunday Night Football was brutal for Garrett Wilson. Though he had five catches for 61 yards, he also essentially handed the game to Pittsburgh with the drop he had that resulted in a game-changing interception.
11. Pittsburgh Steelers – George Pickens (Last Week: #25)
If George Pickens and Russell Wilson can keep that connection going, the Steelers offense could look completely different heading into the second half of the year. He was a monster on Sunday night, taking his five catches for 111 yards and one touchdown.
10. Seattle Seahawks – DK Metcalf (Last Week: #15)
DK Metcalf was a monster on Sunday. He torched the Atlanta secondary for four catches, 99 yards, and a touchdown.
9. Baltimore Ravens – Zay Flowers (Last Week: #4)
Zay Flowers has been great this year for the Baltimore Ravens but took a back seat to Rashod Bateman and the little-known Justice Hill on Monday Night Football.
8. Green Bay Packers – Romeo Doubs (Last Week: Not Ranked)
Romeo Doubs is back and looking better than ever. The budding star hauled in eight of 10 passes for 94 yards on the afternoon.
7. Dallas Cowboys (bye) – CeeDee Lamb (Last Week: #9)
CeeDee Lamb continues to assert himself as one of the top wideouts in the game. Even when the rest of his team fails to show up, Lamb always finds a way to put up some numbers.
6. Cincinnati Bengals – Ja'Marr Chase (Last Week: #7)
Ja’Marr Chase was instrumental in the Bengals’ win, catching an 18-yard touchdown pass from Burrow. He finished with five total catches for 55 yards on the afternoon.
5. Atlanta Falcons – Drake London (Last Week: #3)
Drake London was a bright spot for Atlanta on a quiet Sunday for them as a unit, catching six passes for 63 yards and a score.
4. Detroit Lions – Amon-Ra St. Brown (Last Week: #8)
Amon-Ra St. Brown was back to business again as the go-to target for Jared Goff. He caught a touchdown, along with seven other receptions for 112 yards, and consistently found a way to get open for Jared Goff.
3. Washington Commanders – Terry McLaurin (Last Week: #6)
Terry McLaurin had another big game this week against the lowly Panthers, posting an impressive six-catch, 98-yard outing.
2. Philadelphia Eagles – A.J. Brown (Last Week: #2)
A.J. Brown continues to deliver for the Eagles now that he is back from injury. He caught just as many passes as the rest of the offense, 5, and did so to the tune of 89 yards and a touchdown.
1. Minnesota Vikings – Justin Jefferson (Last Week: #1)
It wasn’t one of his monster performances, but Justin Jefferson did his thing again on Sunday, catching seven of eight targets for 81 yards and a touchdown.
