As we move past Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season, it’s time to evaluate how each NFL team’s number one wide receiver has performed so far.
From veterans who continue to dominate defensive backs to young breakout stars making a name for themselves, the season has already given us plenty to talk about.
Let’s get into it, starting with number 32!
Who are the top wide receivers in the NFL after week 4 of games?
32. New England Patriots: DeMario Douglas (Last Week #31)
New England’s receiving corps struggled to make an impact, and their lead option, DeMario Douglas, has been no exception. The Patriots WR1 caught just three passes for 13 yards in the loss.
31. Los Angeles Chargers: Joshua Palmer (Last Week #32)
Justin Herbert couldn’t find enough time to let plays develop downfield, which limited Joshua Palmer’s production to just three catches for 36 yards.

30. Philadelphia Eagles: Parris Campbell (Last Week #Not Ranked)
Tough week for the Eagles with their top two receivers out. Parris Campbell was slotted into first string and managed to snag a touchdown, but not much else, as he caught four passes for 17 yards.
29. Tennessee Titans: Calvin Ridley (Last Week #27)
It didn’t seem to matter whether it was Will Levis or Mason Rudolph under center. It was another tough week for Calvin Ridley, who caught just one pass for five yards on Monday Night Football.
28. Green Bay Packers: Romeo Doubs (Last Week #28)
Week 4 was not in for Romeo Doubs. The Packers receiver caught just four of his eight targets for 20 yards. Fortunately, his teammate, Jayden Reed, was able to pick up the slack with a monster seven-catch, 139-yard, one-touchdown performance.
27. San Francisco 49ers: Brandon Aiyuk (Last Week #26)
Brandon Aiyuk’s slow start to the season has continued, as the disgruntled NFL wide receiver caught just two passes for 48 yards.

26. Las Vegas Raiders: Jakobi Meyers (Last Week #Not Ranked)
Jakobi Meyers was slotted into WR1 duties with Davante Adams sidelined and did reasonably well, snagging five catches for 49 yards.
25. Kansas City Chiefs: Rashee Rice (Last Week #6)
Tough day for Rashee Rice and the Chiefs, as their top NFL wide receiver went out with what is believed to be a torn ACL after making zero catches.
24. Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill (Last Week #13)
This is beginning to look like a lost season for Tyreek Hill, who only managed four catches for 23 yards in a stunningly pedestrian showing for a player of his caliber.
23. Buffalo Bills: Keon Coleman (Last Week #24)
Not much was done for Keon Coleman in Week 4, as the Bills’ young receiver snagged three catches for 51 yards.
22. Chicago Bears: DJ Moore (Last Week #25)
It was good to see DJ Moore finally get in the end zone, as the somewhat disgruntled star NFL wide receiver has been a malcontent of late. Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams will have to find a way to get more out of their star receiver; otherwise, their relationship may be sour, like many diva wideouts and quarterbacks have before them.
21. Los Angeles Rams: Tutu Atwell (Last Week #23)
No one is going to make the mistake of thinking Tutu Atwell would be a suitable replacement for either of the Rams’ top receivers, but let’s give credit where it is due because Atwell had a nice afternoon, turning six targets into four catches and 82 yards.
20. Houston Texans: Stefon Diggs (Last Week #19)
Another relatively quiet week for Stefon Diggs, who was outshined by Nico Collins in a major way. He finished the game with five catches for 69 yards.
19. Cleveland Browns: Amari Cooper (Last Week #15)
Though Cooper was a holding call away from having himself a big day, his final stat line was unimpressive, as he finished with just four catches for 35 yards after his 82-yard touchdown catch was called back.
18. New York Jets: Garrett Wilson (Last Week #16)
Back to disappointment for Garrett Wilson, who couldn’t get much going this week against a tough Broncos defense. He finished with five catches for 41 yards in the loss.
17. Baltimore Ravens: Zay Flowers (Last Week #12)
Zay Flowers didn’t see much action this week as the Ravens leaned heavily on the run game. He caught one of his two targets for 10 yards.
16. Denver Broncos: Courtland Sutton (Last Week #21)
Courtland Sutton only had three catches, but the one he secured in the back of the end zone in the third quarter was a game-changer. He finished the game with 60 yards and a touchdown.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers: George Pickens (Last Week #30)
While Pickens has to be kicking himself for losing that fumble, he did have an impressive week, snagging seven passes for 113 yards.
14. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr. (Last Week #4)
Marvin Harrison Jr. scored early for the Cardinals, adding his fourth touchdown in three games, but he went quiet as the game wore on.
13. Jacksonville Jaguars: Christian Kirk (Last Week #22)
Christian Kirk had another nice week as he is starting to round into form. He finished with seven catches for 61 yards and a big score.
12. Detroit Lions: Amon-Ra St. Brown (Last Week #7)
Amon-Ra St. Brown was a little quiet considering the offensive outburst but managed to have a respectable night, catching all six of his targets for 46 yards and one touchdown.
11. Carolina Panthers: Diontae Johnson (Last Week #20)
Diontae Johnson really seems to have developed some nice rapport with Andy Dalton. The two connected seven times on Sunday, with Johnson racking up 83 yards and a score in the process.
10. New Orleans Saints: Chris Olave (Last Week #17)
Chris Olave: Saints number one option Chris Olave is really starting to heat up. After a somewhat pedestrian start to the season, he posted his third straight 80+ yard day, going for 8 receptions and 87 yards against the rival Falcons.
9. Atlanta Falcons: Drake London (Last Week #8)
Drake London managed to lead the Falcons in receiving again this week, but the cumulative numbers aren’t all that impressive. He finished the game having hauled in just 50% of his targets for six receptions and 64 yards.
8. Indianapolis Colts: Michael Pittman Jr. (Last Week #29)
Week 4 was definitely Michael Pittman Jr.’s best of the season. He was Mr. Reliable even amid the quarterback switch-up, racking up 113 yards on six catches. He was pivotal in moving the chains, especially during key drives in the second half.
7. Washington Commanders: Terry McLaurin (Last Week #14)
Terry McLaurin had a nice week, as it looks like he and rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels are starting to build a connection. Daniels hit McLaurin seven times for 52 yards and a score.
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mike Evans (Last Week #18)
This was the performance we had been waiting to see from Mike Evans for a couple of weeks. The future Hall of Famer snagged eight catches for 94 yards and a big touchdown.
5. Dallas Cowboys: CeeDee Lamb (Last Week #11)
CeeDee Lamb put up a big night for the Cowboys when they needed their top wideout to show out. He hauled in seven catches for 98 yards, one of which was a game-changing 55-yard touchdown that put Dallas in pole position to secure the victory.
4. Cincinnati Bengals: Ja'Marr Chase (Last Week #5)
He didn’t exactly rack up the catches, as Ja’Marr Chase had just three on six targets, but he made them count, turning them into 85 yards and one touchdown.
3. Seattle Seahawks: D.K. Metcalf (Last Week #3)
Another impressive night for the Seahawks’ physically imposing number one option, DK Metcalf. He caught 7 of 12 targets for 104 yards as Geno Smith went to him early and often.
2. New York Giants: Malik Nabers (Last Week #2)
The Giants have to be hoping that Malik Nabers won’t be out long with the head injury he sustained Thursday Night because he has been their only reliable source of offense this year. The rookie receiver had another big night before exiting with the aforementioned injury, finishing with 12 catches for 115 yards, as he looked nearly unguardable all game.
1. Minnesota Vikings: Justin Jefferson (Last Week #1)
Justin Jefferson is simply on a different level from the rest of the wide receivers in the NFL. Only Minnesota’s superstar is able to make six catches for 85 yards and a score look as effortless as he does.
