Where does your team’s signal-caller rank? We’re diving into all 32 starting NFL quarterbacks to see who’s leading the pack, who’s fading fast, and who’s still a work in progress. Let’s break them all down from worst to first!
Who are the top-ranking quarterbacks in the NFL after week 9?
32. Las Vegas Raiders: Gardner Minshew (Last Week #22)
Gardner Minshew’s day was rough from the start, with only 124 yards passing and a fumble that killed any momentum the Raiders tried to build. It got so bad that Antonio Pierce was desperate for a spark and turned to Desmond Ridder.
31. Indianapolis Colts: Joe Flacco (Not Ranked)
Week 9 was a challenging one for the veteran NFL quarterback. Joe Flacco slotted in as the starting quarterback, completed only 16 of 27 passes for 179 yards and an interception.
30. New York Giants: Daniel Jones (Last Week #31)
Daniel Jones had a mixed outing, completing 20 of 26 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns. However, his turnover issues persisted, with Fowler’s strip-sack leading to a fumble that shifted momentum early. All things considered, it’s definitely the worst we have seen from Jones.

29. Carolina Panthers: Bryce Young (Last Week #30)
Bryce Young finally found himself in the victory formation, and while his numbers weren’t earth-shattering, as he finished 16 of 26 for 171 yards and a touchdown, he did lead the Panthers on a game-winning drive with poise.
28. New Orleans Saints: Derek Carr (Not Ranked)
Derek Carr’s return didn’t go as planned, as the veteran NFL quarterback struggled to find a rhythm after losing his top target, Chris Olave, early. His counting numbers were decent, but he couldn’t find a way to get his team the win that it desperately needed.
27. Seattle Seahawks: Geno Smith (Last Week #26)
Geno Smith had a rollercoaster of a game, throwing for 363 yards and three touchdowns but also committing three costly interceptions, two of which were in the red zone in the fourth quarter. Just can’t do that.
26. Tennessee Titans: Mason Rudolph (Last Week #27)
Mason Rudolph delivered a steady performance, throwing for 240 yards and two touchdowns, including a clutch score to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine late in the fourth quarter.
25. Denver Broncos: Bo Nix (Last Week #18)
Nix had some moments but ultimately couldn’t match Lamar’s level of execution, as his team got blown out of the water.
24. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence (Last Week #24)
Trevor Lawrence had a hot and cold showing, finishing 16 of 31 for 169 yards with two interceptions, one of which ended the game, but managing to add two critical rushing touchdowns.
23. New England Patriots: Drake Maye (Last Week #29)
Rookie Drake Maye was thrust back into the starting role just a week after clearing concussion protocol, and he didn’t disappoint in terms of effort. His 95 rushing yards showed his athleticism, and he was big-time for them on that last drive despite an otherwise inconsistent day throwing the football.
22. Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams (Last Week #20)
Up-and-down performance from Caleb Williams, as the rookie finished 22 for 41 with 217 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions.
21. Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott (Last Week #23)
Tough timing: during one of his best starts to a game this season, Dak Prescott’s day was cut short due to a hamstring injury, forcing him to exit early. Before his injury, Prescott completed 18 of 24 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown.
20. New York Jets: Aaron Rodgers (Last Week #28)
Aaron Rodgers had a tale of two halves on Thursday night. His first-half performance was as pedestrian as they come, struggling to get any rhythm with just 32 passing yards. But then the star NFL quarterback flipped the switch, delivering two jaw-dropping touchdown passes to Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams that shifted the momentum entirely and allowed him to finish having completed 22 of 32 passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions and, most importantly, a Jets win.
19. Cleveland Browns: Jameis Winston (Last Week #10)
Jameis Winston had a rough outing after last week’s heroics. Facing relentless pressure, Winston completed only 18 of his 33 attempts, threw three interceptions, and was sacked six times.
18. Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa (Last Week #21)
Tua Tagovailoa looked sharp, completing 25 of 28 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns, and he kept the Dolphins in the game until the end.
17. Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray (Last Week #13)
Murray shifted into game manager mode this week but did his job effectively and secured a big win.
16. Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud (Last Week #9)
C.J. Stroud had a night to forget on Thursday, completing just 11 of 30 passes and never finding his rhythm. Granted, he was missing key receivers like Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins, but Stroud really struggled to connect with his available targets as the Jets’ defense kept him under constant pressure.
15. Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love (Last Week #11)
Jordan Love had a tough day, as his accuracy was diminished by the rain. He finished with 273 yards and an interception that led to Detroit’s critical pick-six.
14. Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford (Last Week #19)
Star NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford put together a gritty performance, throwing for 298 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner to Demarcus Robinson in overtime.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers: Russell Wilson (Last Week #15)
Russell Wilson has taken the helm as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ starting quarterback, bringing his veteran experience and leadership to an NFL team that has all the other pieces in place.
12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield (Last Week #12)
Mayfield’s ability to keep the offense efficient and capitalize on scoring opportunities will be key moving forward for Tampa Bay, as he has proven he can score points in droves.
11. Atlanta Falcons: Kirk Cousins (Last Week #16)
Kirk Cousins is proving to be the difference-maker Atlanta was hoping for. The veteran QB was efficient and confident, completing 19 of 24 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns.
10. Minnesota Vikings: Sam Darnold (Last Week #17)
Despite four sacks and two interceptions, Darnold remained aggressive, proving he has the poise to rally his team on the strength of his 28 for 34 passing, 290 yards, and three touchdowns.
9. San Francisco 49ers: Brock Purdy (Last Week #8)
Brock Purdy has been leading the offense with poise and managing games effectively, but he needs to increase his consistency and cut back on turnovers when more is being asked of him.
8. Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow (Last Week #14)
Joe Burrow was back to his elite self, tying his career-high with five touchdown passes. The star NFL quarterback went 27 of 39 for 251 yards, showing off his precision and ability to spread the ball to multiple targets.
7. Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts (Last Week #7)
Jalen Hurts was dialed in, completing 18 of 24 passes for 230 yards and orchestrating the offense with precision. He connected on two touchdowns through the air and ran for another, as he is really starting to find a groove.
6. Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert (Last Week #6)
Justin Herbert was on fire early, racking up 250 of his 282 passing yards in the first half and capitalizing on Cleveland’s defensive breakdowns before L.A. parked the bus in the second half to secure the win.
5. Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen (Last Week #5)
Josh Allen turned things around after a shaky start, showing why he’s one of the league’s elite, completing 25 of 39 passes for 235 yards and three scores while surrendering one interception.
4. Detroit Lions: Jared Goff (Last Week #1)
With the horrible weather, Detroit didn’t lean on Jared Goff quite as much as in previous weeks, but he was precise when he needed to be, continuing his record-setting efficiency with another clean outing. He completed 18 of 22 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown.
3. Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels (Last Week #2)
Jayden Daniels continued to show why he’s one of the most exciting young quarterbacks in the NFL. Completing 15 of 22 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns, Daniels was poised and precise and delivered another big win for the Commanders.
2. Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes (Last Week #2)
Although Mahomes isn’t posting the video-game numbers of years past, he’s been efficient, and his ability to extend plays and improvise makes him a threat on every down, especially when it matters most late in games.
1. Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson (Last Week #4)
Lamar Jackson was nothing short of electric, throwing for 280 yards and three touchdowns with a perfect passer rating.
