Week 17 was wrapped up and now there is only one final slate of games remaining in the regular season. Let’s take a look around the league and rank every team’s starting quarterback.
32. Minnesota Vikings Jaren Hall (Last Week N/A)
Minnesota surprised everyone this week by starting Jaren Hall instead of Nick Mullen—and, well, safe to say that decision backfired. Hall turned the ball over twice in the first half, both of which were converted into touchdowns, and the Packers rolled over the Vikings as a result.
31. Carolina Panthers Bryce Young (Last Week #23)
What a showing from Bryce Young this week against a potentially playoff bound Packers defense. He completed 23 of 36 attempts for 312 yards, two touchdown—and most importantly no interceptions.
30. Tennessee Titans Ryan Tannehill (Last Week #31)
Will Levis was supposed to be slotted into the action this week, but an early ankle injury resulted in Ryan Tannehill playing most of the game. The veteran did not fair particularly well, as he showed no ability to stretch the field, turning his 20 attempts into only 168 yards and no touchdowns.

29. New England Patriots Bailey Zappe (Last Week #20)
Week 17 was not pretty for Bailey Zappe. The hot-and-cold Patriots QB was ice cold this week—in a bad way—and completed just 16 of 26 attempts for 209 yards and three interceptions.
28. Atlanta Falcons Taylor Heinicke (Last Week #24)
Taylor Heinicke had a nightmare performance this week in Chicago. The Falcons QB completed just 10 of 29 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown while surrendering three picks in the process.
27. Los Angeles Chargers Easton Stick (Last Week #26)
Eason Stick does a good job of protecting the football, but that is really where the compliments stop. He struggled with his accuracy, completing just 24 of 38 attempts—and couldn’t stretch the field, as his 38 attempts resulted in just 220 yards of passing offense.
26. Washington Commanders Sam Howell (Last Week #32)
Sam Howell played slightly better this week after getting benched in the previous game, but it was still a far cry from what we saw out of the young QB early in the year. He completed just 17 of 28 passes for 169 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.
25. New York Jets Trevor Siemian (Last Week #29)
Trevor Siemian wasn’t horrible on Thursday Night, as the Jets did manage to put up 17 points in the first half with him under center, but it is clear as day that he’s not a bonafide starting option in the NFL
24. Jacksonville Jaguars C.J. Beathard (Last Week N/A)
C.J. Beathard managed the game well in Trevor Lawrence’s absence. He didn’t do anything overwhelmingly impressive, but he protected the football and kept the offense moving better than it had in recent weeks with the dinged-up Lawrence under center.
23. New York Giants Tyrod Taylor (Last Week #30)
Tyrod Taylor got slotted in as the starter this week and the journeyman balled out. Taylor completed 27 of 41 attempts for 319 yards and one touchdown to one interception. He also tacked on another 40 yards on the ground.
22. Las Vegas Raiders Aidan O’Connell (Last Week #25)
After a game in which Aidan O’Connell barely mustered over 50 passing yards, the young quarterback experiences a relative boom this week against the Colts, posting a 299-yard, two-touchdown, and zero-interception stat line.
Unfortunately, this performance came in a losing effort.
21. Denver Broncos Jarrett Stidham (Last Week N/A)
Now that Russell Wilson’s time in Denver is unofficially over, Jarrett Stidham got the chance to start and he looked okay doing so. The Broncos QB1 for this week put up a solid 224 yards, with one touchdown and no turnovers.
20. Seattle Seahawks Geno Smith (Last Week N/A)
Geno Smith looked good this week, as the Seahawks signal caller completed 23 of 33 attempts for 290 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions. He and DK Metcalf continue to show excellent rapport as the two linked up five times for 106 yards on the day.
19. Cincinnati Bengals Jake Browning (Last Week #15)
Jake Browning played well this week, particularly in the first half, against a tough Chiefs defense. Joe Burrow’s stand-in finished the game with a smidge under 200 passing yards and a touchdown through the air—and another 32 yards and a score on seven carries.
18. Indianapolis Colts Gardner Minshew (Last Week #16)
Gardner Minshew balled out this week in classic fashion. He scrapped together just enough big plays, including a huge 58-yard touchdown in the third quarter to get the win.
The journeyman finished having completed 15 of 23 attempts for 224 yards and one touchdown, with no interceptions.
17. Detroit Lions Jared Goff (Last Week #5)
Week 17 was not pretty for Jared Goff. The Lions signal caller missed a number of open guys on critical throws and surrendered two picks to the Cowboys, while completing just 19 of 34 passes for 271 yards and a touchdown.
16. Miami Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa (Last Week #3)
Week 17 was a major disappointment for Tua. The Dolphins QB1 missed a ton of open receivers and couldn’t protect the ball, as he threw a couple of bad interceptions in the blowout loss.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers Mason Rudolph (Last Week #17)
I’m not sure what planet we are living on, but Mason Rudolph has been playing excellent football since backing his way into the starting job in Pittsburgh. Rudolph has really unlocked George Pickens, the two linked up seven times for 131 yards, making up nearly half of Rudolph’s 274 passing yards for the game.
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Baker Mayfield (Last Week #8)
Although Baker Mayfield’s stat line looks decent from the Week 17 showdown with the Saints, it does not tell the full picture as his two touchdowns and a good chunk of his 309 yards came in garbage time.
13. New Orleans Saints Derek Carr (Last Week #18)
Week 17 was one of the better games that Derek Carr has had as a Saint. He was very efficient, completing 24 of 32 passes for 197 yards and two scores with no interceptions.
12. Arizona Cardinals Kyler Murray (Last Week #14)
Kyler Murray had a big week for the Cardinals, as they upset the Eagles on their home turf. The dual-threat quarterback completed 25 of 31 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns with only one interception
Murray also tacked on five carries for 24 yards on the afternoon.
11. Green Bay Packers Jordan Love (Last Week #11)
Jordan Love followed up a strong showing against the Packers with an extremely crisp performance against the Vikings this week to keep Green Bay’s playoff hopes alive. The Packers first-year starter completed 24 of 33 for 256 yards and three touchdowns, with zero interceptions.
10. Houston Texans C.J. Stroud (Last Week N/A)
C.J. Stroud looked great in his return. The Texans rookie was accurate all afternoon, completing 24 of 32 attempts for 213 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions.
9. Chicago Bears Justin Fields (Last Week #13)
Justin Fields continues to make the Caleb Williams debate an extremely challenging one with his impressive late-season play. The Bears QB completed 20 of 32 passes for 268 yards and TD with no interceptions.
He also added 11 carries for 45 yards and another touchdown.
8. Buffalo Bills Josh Allen (Last Week #4)
Josh Allen struggled with his accuracy this week. The Bills signal caller completed just 15 of 30 attempts for 169 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception.
He did, however, manage to contribute in the run game, by taking 11 carries for 44 yards and two scores.
7. Cleveland Browns Joe Flacco (Last Week #10)
Joe Flacco…Wow. The Super Bowl 47 MVP has had one heck of a run. He’s 4-1 as a starter with the Browns and had a nice dose of revenge this week against the Jets, carving his former team up for over 300 yards and three touchdowns, most of which came in the first half.
6. Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes (Last Week #7)
Patrick Mahomes had a steady performance, aside from his early fumble, on Sunday. The Chiefs QB1 finished having completed 21 of 29 passes for 245 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions.
5. Dallas Cowboys Dak Prescott (Last Week #12)
Week 17 was a big one for Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. On Jimmy Johnson night, the veteran signal-caller completed 26 of 38 for 345 yards, two touchdowns and only one interception.
4. San Francisco 49ers Brock Purdy (Last Week #9)
While Brock Purdy’s MVP campaign may be dead and buried, he did bounce back nicely this week against the lowly Commanders. He completed 22 of 28 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
3. Philadelphia Eagles Jalen Hurts (Last Week #6)
Jalen Hurts was solid against the admittedly weak Cardinals defense this week. The Eagles QB1 completed 18 of 23 passes for only 167 yards for three touchdowns, though he did surrender one interception in the process.
2. Los Angeles Matthew Stafford (Last Week #1)
Matthew Stafford has been playing great football this year, particularly of late, but we did see his old nemesis, the interception bug, rear its ugly head this week. Beyond the turnovers, he did play well though, completing 24 of 34 for 317 yards, one touchdown and the two aforementioned picks.
1. Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson (Last Week #2)
Lamar Jackson is making a late season push for league MVP honors. The Ravens signal caller was insanely efficient this week, completing 18 of 21 passes for 321 yards and five TDs—plus he added another 35 yards on the ground via six carries.
