Week 15 has come and gone and no shocker here, but it was another wild week of football. Let’s take a look around the league and power rank the NFL’s quarterbacks.
32. New York Jets Zach Wilson (Last Week #21)
Man, that was a brutal day for Zach Wilson. The embattled Jets quarterback completed just four of 11 passes for 26 yards and lost an embarrassing fumble before getting benched for Trevor Siemian.
31. Pittsburgh Steelers Mitch Trubisky (Last Week #32)
Mitch Trubisky has really struggled since taking over the starting duties for Kenny Pickett in Pittsburgh. He never got in any sort of rhythm against the Colts this week, completing just 16 passes for 169 yards and one touchdown to two interceptions.
30. Los Angeles Chargers Easton Stick (Last Week N/A)
So… Tough week for Easton Stick to get named the starter considering the rest of his team essentially quit on Thursday Night. He did have a nice 79-yard TD to Joshua Palmer, but that was well into garbage time and the rest of his performance was underwhelming.

29. Atlanta Falcons Desmond Ridder (Last Week #30)
Week 15 was not pretty for Desmond Ridder. Atlanta’s QB1 finished having completed just 12 of 20 passes for 152 yards and one touchdown to one interception. What’s crazy is that the tape was even worse than the stat line.
28. Carolina Panthers Bryce Young (Last Week #31)
Bryce Young protected the football on Sunday, but that was just about the only thing he did well, as the rookie quarterback had an anemic outing, finishing with 157 passing yards on the day.
27. Washington Commanders Sam Howell (Last Week #26)
It looks like the rookie mistakes have finally become too much for Sam Howell in Washington. After a promising start to the season, the Commanders young QB has hit the skids of late. He hit rock bottom this week, getting benched in the second half for Jacoby Brissett.
26. New York Giants Tommy DeVito (Last Week #20)
Week 15 the clock struck midnight on Tommy DeVito. The Giants offense couldn’t move the ball at all with him under center, as he completed just 20 of 34 passes for only 177 yards.
If DeVito wants any staying power in the league, he has to learn how to get rid of the ball more efficiently, as he took seven sacks this week.
25. Seattle Seahawks Drew Lock (Last Week #27)
As entertaining as he is as a competitor, Drew Lock is not up to par when it comes to being a starting quarterback in the NFL. It was another challenging start for Seattle’s de facto QB1. The Seahawks have to be ready for Geno Smith to come back at this point.
24. New England Patriots Bailey Zappe (Last Week #22)
Bailey Zappe got off to a hot start on Sunday, but cooled off quickly in the second half. The Patriots quarterback finished having completed just 23 of 31 passes for 180 yards and one touchdown to one INT.
23. Minnesota Vikings Nick Mullens (Last Week N/A)
All in all, Nick Mullens had a solid showing for Minnesota this week. The Vikings QB finished having completed 26 of 35 passes for 303 yards and two scores. If he can cut out the interceptions, he may still be able to lead this talented Minnesota side to the playoffs.
22. Houston Texans Case Keenum (Last Week N/A)
All things considered, Case Keenum played fairly well on Sunday against the Titans. He finished with 229 passing yards and one touchdown to one interception, but most importantly, led them on that pivotal field goal drive in overtime to win the game.
21. Las Vegas Raiders Aidan O’Connell (Last Week #29)
O’Connell’s performance was impressive on Thursday Night Football, albeit against a defeated Chargers team. The young QB posted 248 yards and four touchdowns and proved his ability to lead an offense effectively.
20. Tennessee Titans Will Levis (Last Week #14)
Will Levis was gutsy out there all afternoon, as he took a beating from a Texans defense that sacked him seven times. Unfortunately, it looks like he may have to miss some time after the way he got rolled up on while getting sacked toward the end of overtime.
19. Denver Broncos Russell Wilson (Last Week #12)
Russell Wilson did not deliver for the Broncos this week against a weak Lions defense. He completed just 18 of 32 passes and struggled to put together any sort of cohesive drive until the game was already out of reach.
18. Jacksonville Jaguars Trevor Lawrence (Last Week #15)
Trevor Lawrence is quickly climbing the list of most frustrating quarterbacks to watch. The young QB has the ability to make all of the throws, but continues to shoot himself in the foot with careless blunders, like his bizarre red zone fumble.
17. New Orleans Saints Derek Carr (Last Week #24)
Maybe a good scolding was what Derek Carr needed to get back on track. The controversial quarterback had a strong outing Sunday, completing 23 of 28 passes for 218 yards and three scores.
16. Chicago Bears Justin Fields (Last Week #11)
Granted, both Chicago’s offensive line and wide receivers had a bad day, but Justin Fields wasn’t great himself. The Bears young QB finished Week 15 having completed just 19 of 40 passes for 166 yards and one touchdown to two interceptions.
15. Arizona Cardinals Kyler Murray (Last Week #17)
Kyler Murray looked good in spurts this week, but he need to do a better job of protecting the football. In addition to his 211 yards and one touchdown, he also surrendered two picks and put the ball on the ground twice.
14. Indianapolis Colts Gardner Minshew (Last Week #19)
Week 15 was one of the best complete Gardner Minshew games we’ve ever seen. The charismatic journeyman was super-efficient against the Steelers, completing 18 of 28 passes for 215 yards and three TDs with no interceptions.
13. Cleveland Browns Joe Flacco (Last Week #13)
The old turnover bug is starting to bite Joe Flacco again, but all things considered, he’s done a great job of leading this Browns offense—especially when you factor in that he was on his couch up until a couple of weeks ago.
The veteran quarterback nearly threw for 375 yards this week and led an impressive comeback effort to knock off a frisky Bears team.
12. Green Bay Packers Jordan Love (Last Week #16)
Jordan Love bounced back nicely on an individual level this week. The Packers quarterback completed 29 of 39 attempts for 284 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Baker Mayfield (Last Week #23)
Baker Mayfield looked like he was back in Heisman form this week. The former first-overall pick had a monster game that helped edge Tampa Bay closer to the postseason. He finished the contest with 381 passing yards, four TDs, and no turnovers.
10. Dallas Cowboys Dak Prescott (Last Week #1)
There goes Dak Prescott’s MVP campaign… The Cowboys signal caller had a terrible showing on Sunday completing 21 of 34 passes for a measly 134 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception.
9. Cincinnati Bengals Jake Browning (Last Week #9)
Jake Browning has done it again. The Bengals backup quarterback delivered in a big way, leading Cinci to a critical win over the Vikings on the strength of his 324-yard, two-touchdown performance.
Browning showed a flare for the dramatics too, leading the offense to a 21-point 4th quarter and ultimately a huge comeback win.
8. Detroit Lions Jared Goff (Last Week #10)
After a couple of tough weeks in a row, Jared Goff had a huge performance on Saturday against the Broncos. Detroit’s QB1 completed 24 of 34 passes for 278 yards and five touchdowns in the blowout win.
7. Philadelphia Eagles Jalen Hurts (Last Week #8)
Once again, Jalen Hurts proved that in addition to being one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, he is also one of the toughest players in the league. Hurts stepped up big for Philly Monday Night despite battling the flu all week.
6. Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson (Last Week #5)
Lamar Jackson was very effective running the ball on Sunday Night, turning 12 carries into 97 yards—and converting a couple of key first downs in the process. He was a little erratic passing, completing just 14 of 24, but made some big throws down field and managed to accumulate 171 yards and one touchdown to only one interception.
5. Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes (Last Week #7)
Patrick Mahomes was stellar on Sunday despite more terrible play from his receivers. The All-World QB finished with over 300 yards and two scores.
4. Buffalo Bills Josh Allen (Last Week #3)
The Bills went into Sunday’s game against the Cowboys with a run-first mentality, so much so that Josh Allen only attempted 15 passes. Despite having just 94 passing yards, it was a quality outing for him considering he threw for a touchdown and added one on the ground in the blowout win.
3. Miami Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa (Last Week #4)
Tua Tagovailoa was very efficient on Sunday, despite Tyreek Hill missing from the lineup. The Dolphins quarterback completed 21 of 24 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown in a rout of the Jets.
2. Los Angeles Matthew Stafford (Last Week #6)
2023 has been a renaissance year for Matthew Stafford. The veteran quarterback has been on fire all season. Week 15 he carved up the Commanders for 258 yards and two touchdowns.
1. San Francisco 49ers Brock Purdy (Last Week #2)
Brock Purdy is as hot as anyone right now. The 49ers quarterback had another insanely efficient showing turning 16 completions into 242 yards and four touchdowns.
