As we hit the midpoint of the 2024 season, it’s clear which NFL offenses are firing on all cylinders and which ones are stalling out.
Let’s dive in, ranking all 32 NFL offenses from worst to first to see who’s dominating and who’s letting this season pass them by.
Which teams had the best-ranking offense in the entire NFL after week 9?
32. Chicago Bears: (Last Week #25)
Chicago’s offense looked disjointed, in part because Eberflus went away from the run way too early. They finished with only nine points in the loss.
31. New Orleans Saints: (Last Week #32)
The offense leaned heavily on Alvin Kamara, who carried the load with 155 rushing yards and 60 receiving yards. However, the loss of Olave early on left a significant void, and Carr’s lack of chemistry with the remaining receivers was evident as the team struggled to put away the Panthers and ultimately lost the contest.
30. Carolina Panthers: (Last Week #30)

The offense wasn’t perfect, but it was effective when it counted. Rookie playmakers like Ja’Tavion Sanders and Xavier Legette helped spark the unit, with Sanders racking up 87 receiving yards and Legette scoring his fourth touchdown of the season.
29. New England Patriots: (Last Week #27)
The Patriots offense was hampered by penalties and an inability to capitalize on red-zone opportunities. They’re still finding their identity under a new quarterback and head coach, and until they establish consistency, they’ll continue to fall short in close games.
28. New York Giants: (Last Week #29)
The Giants’ offense was once again a story of missed opportunities. They managed to score 22 points, but mistakes and penalties plagued their drives.
27. Tennessee Titans: (Last Week #31)
The Titans offense has struggled to find its footing this NFL season, and this game was no different, as they needed overtime to break 17 points. However, they managed to get it done when it mattered most, largely thanks to a big day from Tony Pollard and a couple of timely throws from Rudolph.

26. Las Vegas Raiders: (Last Week #23)
Despite some solid work from Jakobi Meyers, who finished with 105 yards on eight catches, the offense lacked cohesion and was drastically outperformed by Joe Burrow and the Bengals.
25. Indianapolis Colts: (Last Week #18)
Opportunities were there for their offense, but execution and untimely mistakes kept the Colts from turning drives into points, leaving them short yet again in a game where they needed to set the tone after benching their starting NFL quarterback, Anthony Richardson.
24. Cleveland Browns: (Last Week #20)
Cleveland missed chances to keep the game close, as Winston’s turnovers and lack of connection with his receivers stymied any momentum.
23. Seattle Seahawks: (Last Week #26)
With DK Metcalf sidelined, Smith-Njigba filled the void admirably, but Seattle simply didn’t protect the football enough to secure the win.
22. Dallas Cowboys: (Last Week #24)
Cooper Rush filled in admirably for the injured Dak Prescott, leading an 86-yard scoring drive late in the game, but the Cowboys run game and the offensive line couldn’t keep up with the Falcons’ pressure.
21. New York Jets: (Last Week #28)
The Jets offense took a while to get going, but once they did, it was the big plays that made the difference. They had to string a couple of performances together to earn our trust, but this was a massive improvement.
20. Houston Texans: (Last Week #14)
The Texans offense was frustratingly inconsistent again this week. The highlight was Joe Mixon’s 3-yard touchdown run, which capped an impressive 98-yard drive, but those moments were few and far between during their recent NFL game.
19. Jacksonville Jaguars: (Last Week #17)
They clawed back from a 16-point halftime deficit, cutting the Eagles’ lead to just five late in the game, but they didn’t have the firepower to get over the hump.
18. Miami Dolphins: (Last Week #22)
De’Von Achane’s dual-threat ability added a dynamic layer to the Dolphins offense, with 63 rushing yards and 58 receiving yards, including two touchdowns, opening up opportunities for Tua, who led the team to 27 points, albeit in a losing effort.
17. Denver Broncos: (Last Week #10)
The Broncos offense was outclassed, with only one real spark coming from a trick-play touchdown where receiver Courtland Sutton threw a reverse pass to Nix.
16. Los Angeles Rams: (Last Week #19)
The Rams offense got a nice bump from Demarcus Robinson, who stepped up after Nacua got ejected, finishing with six catches for 94 yards and two scores, including that jaw-dropping one-handed grab to seal the victory.
15. Minnesota Vikings: (Last Week #13)
Despite early struggles and a scoreless first half, the Vikings offense kept pushing, capitalizing on the Colts’ mistakes to pull away in the second half, largely thanks to some big plays by their NFL receivers.
14. Pittsburgh Steelers: (Last Week #12)
With the unit getting more familiar with having Russell Wilson under center, the Steelers offense should come out of the bye ready to build a more balanced attack and really hit the ground running.
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: (Last Week #11)
Unfortunately for the Bucs, this offense expectedly doesn’t look the same without star NFL wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
12. Los Angeles Chargers: (Last Week #16)
Los Angeles took full advantage of a Browns’ secondary that struggled to communicate, leading to explosive plays and a smooth offensive performance.
11. Arizona Cardinals: (Last Week #15)
Arizona’s offense came to play Sunday against a strong Bears defense, totaling 29 points and 350 yards of offense.
10. Green Bay Packers: (Last Week #7)
Despite racking up over 400 yards of total offense, Green Bay struggled to convert in the red zone, managing just one touchdown in four trips.
9. Cincinnati Bengals: (Last Week #21)
The Bengals offense looked balanced and explosive, giving a glimpse of what this NFL team can do when everything clicks, albeit against a relatively meager opponent.
8. San Francisco 49ers: (Last Week #6)
The offense has adapted well despite injuries, utilizing a careful mix of run and pass plays to keep defenses off balance.
7. Atlanta Falcons: (Last Week #8)
The Falcons offense looked well-rounded and in sync, thanks in large part to Cousins’s command and the versatility of Bijan Robinson, as they racked up 27 points and another big win.
6. Washington Commanders: (Last Week #9)
This NFL team’s offense was efficient and effective, capitalizing on turnovers and consistently moving the chains, as the connection between Daniels and Terry McLaurin was on full display again.
5. Kansas City Chiefs: (Last Week #4)
Mahomes spreads the ball around in classic Chiefs fashion, making everyone a potential playmaker. It doesn’t matter how many points they put up; this unit is to be feared.
4. Philadelphia Eagles: (Last Week #3)
The Eagles offense is starting to regain its form as it racked up 28 points at home against the Jags during their recent clash in the NFL.
3. Buffalo Bills: (Last Week #2)
Buffalo’s offense came to play on Sunday, racking up 30 points at home against a respectable Miami defense.
2. Detroit Lions: (Last Week #1)
Sunday was a challenging outing with the conditions on the field, but the Lions offense played efficient football and secured the win despite being outgained overall by Green Bay.
1. Baltimore Ravens: (Last Week #5)
Baltimore’s offense was ridiculous this week, as it poured 41 points on a formidable Denver D.
