As we reach the midpoint of the 2024 NFL season, offenses across the league have fluctuated quite a bit. After seven weeks of action, it’s time to rank all 32 NFL offenses from worst to first.
Which teams had the best offense in the entire NFL after week 7?
32. Carolina Panthers (Last Week #28)
The Panthers offense never found a groove against Washington’s defense. Andy Dalton couldn’t push the ball downfield, and with injuries depleting the receiving corps, Carolina’s offense became equal parts predictable and ineffective.
31. New York Giants (Last Week #23)
Man, did Sunday have to sting for the Giants and their fans. Not only did their offense put up a paltry three points, but Saquon Barkley also outscored and outgained them in his return to MetLife!
30. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #32)
This Miami offense has gone from one of the best in the league to one of the worst, seemingly in the blink of an eye.

29. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #29)
The Raiders offense had a challenging day, managing just five field goals and failing to find the end zone while turning the ball over four times.
28. New England Patriots (Last Week #30)
The Patriots offense got off to a promising start, scoring on their opening drive for the first time this season with JaMycal Hasty’s 16-yard touchdown. However, they struggled to sustain that momentum despite a strong showing from rookie quarterback Drake Maye.
27. Cleveland Browns (Last Week #31)
Cleveland’s offense had moments of hope early in the game, including a 1-yard rushing touchdown from Nick Chubb, marking his return from a devastating knee injury last season. Chubb’s score wasn’t enough, though, as they finished with only 14 points in the loss.

26. Tennessee Titans (Last Week #25)
Tennessee’s offense started strong with a 10-0 lead but completely fell apart after that. The decision to go for it on fourth-and-1 in Buffalo territory backfired, and from that point on, the Titans couldn’t generate any momentum.
25. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #13)
Injuries crippled the Saints’ offense, with multiple key starters out, including quarterback Derek Carr and his top two targets, Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Either way, it was an ugly showing on Thursday Night Football.
24. Dallas Cowboys (bye) (Last Week #27)
As terrible as Dallas’s defense looked in Week 6, the offense still managed to stand out as a massive disappointment. We have come to expect more out of this group.
23. New York Jets (Last Week #22)
The Jets came into this one with a lot of optimism, but Davante Adams, reunited with Rodgers, had a quiet day with just 30 yards on three catches, and the offense couldn’t deliver.
22. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #24)
The Jaguars offense was able to lean heavily on the run game, thanks to Tank Bigsby’s breakout performance, and had one of their best games of the season.
21. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #18)
The Rams may have snapped their losing skid, but the offense wasn’t particularly impressive out there, especially outside of running back Kyren Williams.
20. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week #19)
The Chargers offense still has some work to do to catch up to the defense. They moved the ball reasonably well but need to find a way to finish off drives and get in the end zone. That said, it is starting to take form, but they are missing some key playmakers on the outside to help elevate the unit.
19. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #14)
The offensive line paved the way for Goodson and protected Richardson well enough to execute late in the game. However, this offense still has a lot of work to do.
18. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #21)
It wasn’t one of their high-flying affairs, but the Cardinals offense played sound football on Monday night against a tough Chargers defense.
17. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #15)
While it was touch and go for a little while, Cincinnati’s offense found success in the second half, with Joe Burrow and the offense scoring two pivotal third-quarter touchdowns to put their NFL game out of reach.
16. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #5)
San Francisco had its work cut out for it this week on offense with all the injuries, losing Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel, but it was really their inability to protect the football that killed them.
15. Denver Broncos (Last Week #26)
The Broncos offense had one of its best games of the year as it racked up 33 points against a reeling Saints team.
14. Chicago Bears (bye) (Last Week #16)
The Bears offense stumbled out of the gate behind their struggling rookie quarterback, but this group is really starting to find its form as the season wears on.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #20)
With Russell Wilson at the helm, the offense showed versatility and balance, something that has been lacking in recent weeks with Justin Fields. Pittsburgh racked up an impressive 37 points against a strong Jets defense.
12. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #6)
Atlanta’s potent offense was held to just 14 points and three turnovers by a weak Seattle defense on Sunday.
11. Houston Texans (Last Week #4)
Houston’s offense leaned heavily on Joe Mixon, who had a standout game with 115 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get anything going through the air.
10. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #11)
The O-line did its job in giving Smith enough time and opening up lanes for the run game, and they kept the ball moving effectively as they racked up 34 points down in Atlanta.
9. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week #17)
This was the best the Eagles offense has looked in a long time, as it appears A.J. Brown was exactly what the doctor ordered for the Eagles!
8. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #9)
It wasn’t perfect, but the Packers offense showed resilience and, dare I say, precision when it mattered most, as they were able to muster up just enough firepower on an off day to knock off the Texans.
7. Buffalo Bills (Last Week #12)
Buffalo’s offense cruised on Sunday, notching 34 points after a slow start and running away with a win over the Titans.
6. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #10)
Minnesota’s offense came to play on Sunday, putting up 29 points and 383 yards of total offense. They just came up a little short on a couple of key conversions, which left the door open for Detroit to come in and steal the win.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #3)
The Buccaneers offense is still as explosive as it gets, but they are starting to gain a reputation for being mistake-prone. If they can cut back on the turnovers and penalties, they could be a real problem come playoff time.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #7)
Kansas City’s offense leaned on its ground game, running for four touchdowns, including two from Kareem Hunt. What’s scary is that they clearly still aren’t firing on all cylinders!
3. Washington Commanders (Last Week #8)
The Commanders offense moved smoothly with Mariota under center, racking up 421 yards. Tight ends played a key role, with Mariota connecting for touchdowns with both Ertz and Sinnott.
2. Detroit Lions (Last Week #2)
Detroit’s offense took over the game in the second quarter, scoring three touchdowns and marching down the field with efficient play-calling from offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.
1. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #1)
While the Ravens offense got off to a slow start on Monday night, getting blanked in the first quarter, they quickly reminded everyone why they are one of the most feared offenses in the league, racking up 41 points and over 500 yards of offense.
