With Week 4 in the books, we have now seen some teams find their stride, lighting up the scoreboard with ease, while others are still searching for answers on how to move the chains. With a month of action behind us, it’s time to assess how all 32 NFL teams’ offenses stack up so far.
Which NFL teams had the best offense in the league after week 4?
32. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #27)
Miami’s once high-powered offense has been a shell of itself without Tua under center. They finished with just 12 points and 184 yards of total offense.
31. New England Patriots (Last Week #25)
Things are not looking good for this Pats offense, which has no ability to pass the ball. They have been held under 150 yards passing in four straight games to start the season for the first time since 1971.
30. Cleveland Browns (Last Week #28)
The Browns’ offensive line, down four starters, couldn’t protect Watson well enough, leading to three sacks and just 241 total yards.

29. Denver Broncos (Last Week #29)
Denver’s offense was sluggish in the first half but found its footing after halftime. Rushing for 126 yards helped control the pace, allowing them to chip away at the Jets’ defense and providing much-needed rest for their own defense, which toiled away all game, fighting off bad field position.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #26)
Jacksonville’s offense looked competent this week, but they stalled on four consecutive plays inside the 5-yard line in the third quarter, leaving points on the field that they desperately needed to put the Texans away.
27. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week #22)
After jumping out to a 10-point first quarter, the Chargers offense went silent on Sunday… Literally, as they were shut out from that point on.

26. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #30)
Indy’s offense stepped up big-time this week under the leadership of veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, who stepped in for the injured Anthony Richardson. Flacco completed 16 of 16 for 168 yards and two scores, as the Colts finished with 27 points and 358 yards.
25. Chicago Bears (Last Week #31)
After getting blanked in the first quarter, Chicago’s offense started to find its form. Caleb Williams spread the ball well, and the run game finally showed up!
24. New York Giants (Last Week #24)
The Giants’ offense showed hints of life on Thursday Night through the air, with Jones finding a semblance of a rhythm and Malik Nabers proving to be an electric and consistent playmaker. However, the inability to establish the run game—gaining just 26 yards on 24 carries—limited their ability to sustain drives and execute in the red zone.
23. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #23)
Las Vegas turned to the run game, delivering a balanced attack with 152 rushing yards, with five different players posting runs of 10+ yards. Without Davante Adams, they relied more on the ground and found success, getting creative with their play-calling to exploit mismatches. Far from explosive, but competent and successful.
22. Tennessee Titans (Last Week #32)
The Titans’ offense pounded the Dolphins on the ground, with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears combining for a bruising attack that produced 32 points on Monday Night Football.
21. Carolina Panthers (Last Week #21)
The Panthers’ offense looked pretty good this week, especially on the ground. Chuba Hubbard churned out 104 yards and a touchdown, as the team went for 155 total. Twenty-four points is a respectable showing.
20. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week #17)
Without Brown and Smith, the Eagles’ passing game lacked any of its trademarked explosive plays. The offensive line, missing Lane Johnson, struggled to protect Hurts, leading to six sacks and making for a challenging afternoon for Saquon Barkley.
19. New York Jets (Last Week #10)
The Jets’ offense was stuck in neutral, managing only nine points. They did out-gain the Broncos, but that really isn’t saying much. Tough week for New York.
18. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #20)
The team’s failure in the red zone, going just 1-for-4, was the difference between victory and defeat. They moved the ball effectively but couldn’t find the killer instinct to put the Bears away when opportunities arose. Clearly, they were impacted by the lynchpins of their offense, who missed the game due to injury.
17. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week #19)
Dallas is going to need to improve their offensive efficiency if they are serious about contending for the Super Bowl. Yes, Dak Prescott’s two touchdown passes were enough to knock off a lowly New York side, but the run game really struggled and they will need that if they are going to compete come playoff time.
16. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #13)
The Bengals’ offense wasn’t perfect this week, but it has continued to look much improved. Cinci poured 34 points on a weak Panthers defense en route to their first win of the year.
15. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #8)
Not a great showing from a high-powered Cardinals offense, which couldn’t get anything going through the air. 115 yards passing is not going to cut it and left them far too one-dimensional for any kind of success.
14. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #14)
If you’re looking for highlight-reel plays, the Falcons’ offense didn’t provide many in Week 4. There was not a touchdown to be found from the Kirk Cousins-led unit, and the inability to finish drives plagued them throughout the contest… But I guess a win is a win!
13. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #11)
Green Bay’s offense was a tale of two halves on Sunday. After falling into a 28-0 hole, they rallied for 22 unanswered and nearly were able to pull off the epic comeback.
12. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #15)
The Seahawks’ offense had a monster game, putting up 29 points and over 500 yards of total offense. If they can decrease the critical penalties and improve their ability to convert in key situations, this offense could be something special.
11. Buffalo Bills (Last Week #1)
The Bills’ offense was out of sync from the start, and they were unable to match Baltimore’s tempo or efficiency during their NFL game. Buffalo finished with just 10 points on the evening.
10. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #18)
Pittsburgh’s offense found itself in a hole early, scoring just three points in the first half, but nearly clawed all the way back. Fields connected well with George Pickens, who racked up 113 yards on seven catches. The ground game, however, lacked punch, leaving much of the burden on Fields to make plays both in the air and with his legs.
9. Houston Texans (Last Week #5)
With Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce out, Houston’s offense leaned on Stroud’s arm and the reliable hands of Collins, and the squad delivered. Collins and Stroud hooked up 12 times for 151 yards and a score, as the Texans went for 435 yards of total offense and 24 points.
8. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #4)
The Vikings’ offense was firing on all cylinders in the first half, racking up 28 points by halftime, their best output since 2017. Sam Darnold did well in spreading the ball effectively, finding Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Josh Oliver for a touchdown.
7. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #2)
The Saints’ offense had its moments on Sunday, but it was too little too late, as they weren’t able to climb back fast enough to beat the Falcons after their defense allowed an early lead. They did, however, move the ball well, netting nine more first downs than Atlanta and 366 yards of offense.
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #7)
The Bucs came out on fire, scoring a touchdown on their first possession—something they hadn’t done in 21 games. Tampa Bay parlayed that into a 24-0 lead by halftime and a convincing win over the Eagles.
5. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #3)
The Chiefs’ offense initially struggled, essentially giving away early opportunities, but Mahomes found his groove late in the second quarter. Xavier Worthy stepped up, hauling in a deep touchdown to help lift Kansas City to victory.
4. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #9)
There is still room for improvement for this unit, but they have done well to tread water while Christian McCaffrey is out. They did have a nice showing on Sunday, though, against an admittedly weak Patriots defense.
3. Washington Commanders (Last Week #16)
Washington’s offense was methodical, scoring on their first two drives and never losing control of the tempo. Brian Robinson Jr. and Jeremy McNichols complemented Jayden Daniels exceptionally well, and the trio ran for over 216 yards.
2. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #6)
The offense rolled from the first snap, powered by Derrick Henry’s electric 87-yard touchdown run. Baltimore was unstoppable, racking up 427 yards and 35 points.
1. Detroit Lions (Last Week #12)
The Lions’ offense was firing on all cylinders on Monday Night. Dan Campbell’s squad racked up 42 points and 389 yards of total offense en route to an impressive win.
