Whether it’s a quarterback threading dime, a running back slicing through defenses, or wideouts torching secondaries, the best NFL offenses are a beautiful mix of precision and explosiveness. On the flip side, the worst offenses are plagued by sloppy execution, questionable play-calling, and drives that stall out in embarrassing fashion.
Let’s look around the NFL and stack rank the offense from last to first.
Which NFL teams had the best-ranking offense after week 14?
32. Tennessee Titans: (Last Week #27)
Six points. That’s all the Titans could muster against a Jaguars defense, which has been a turnstile all season, and that says it all.
31. Jacksonville Jaguars: (Last Week #30)
The offense looked like it was running through mud in the first half, but they finally found a spark with Tank Bigsby’s touchdown run, which was just enough to get past the lowly Titans.
30. New York Giants: (Last Week #31)

The late touchdown and two-point conversion gave fans a glimmer of hope, but the inability to finish drives is a story that’s been on repeat all season, and they managed just 11 points in the loss.
29. Las Vegas Raiders: (Last Week #25)
The Raiders offense is a slow-motion train wreck. Aidan O’Connell’s injury didn’t help, but even before that, it was a slog.
28. Indianapolis Colts: (Bye)
The Colts’ offense has been a mixed bag. Jonathan Taylor’s return provided a much-needed boost, but injuries have limited his effectiveness and this NFL team’s consistency as a whole.
27. Atlanta Falcons: (Last Week #28)
The Falcons offense got off to a good start in Week 14 but went quiet in the fourth quarter while the Vikings poured it on them.

26. New York Jets: (Last Week #29)
New York may have lost, but this NFL team’s offense looked the best it has in weeks, though, that’s not saying much.
25. New Orleans Saints: (Last Week #24)
The Saints’ offense was far from clinical, but it was just enough. Kendre Miller’s first-quarter touchdown run — dragging half the Giants’ defense with him — was impressive, but they really didn’t do much else.
24. Cleveland Browns: (Last Week #21)
The Jeudy touchdown was a highlight, but after that, it was one step forward, two steps back. They had chances to keep this game close but continued to come up short.
23. Chicago Bears: (Last Week #14)
Four total yards in the first half. Four! They looked like they were stuck in quicksand, with every drive collapsing before it even began. The offensive line couldn’t protect, the receivers couldn’t separate, and the run game was non-existent. Caleb Williams tried to rally in the second half, tossing two touchdowns to Rome Odunze, but it was too little, too late for this NFL team.
22. New England Patriots: (Bye)
The Patriots offense has had very little consistency this year. The one bright spot has been the emergence of rookie NFL quarterback Drake Maye.
21. Carolina Panthers: (Last Week #20)
For a team that’s 3-10, the Panthers’ offense showed some fight. Chuba Hubbard topped 1,000 yards for the season with a solid 92-yard performance, and Young did enough to keep them within striking distance, but they came up a little short.
20. San Francisco 49ers: (Last Week #32)
Week 14 marked the first time that the 49ers offense has looked like itself in weeks. Purdy spread the ball around with confidence, and the offensive line held its ground just long enough to keep the gears turning for this NFL squad. This was a masterclass in execution, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
19. Dallas Cowboys: (Last Week #22)
Dallas’s offense has been far from consistent in 2024, but what else would you expect with the injuries that they have had? They came out strong in the first half on Monday but trailed off significantly.
18. Arizona Cardinals: (Last Week #17)
The Cardinals offense was a major disappointment this week against a Seahawks defense that hasn’t exactly been setting the world on fire.
17. Kansas City Chiefs: (Last Week #18)
It’s not always pretty, but the Chiefs offense always finds a way. DeAndre Hopkins’ touchdown grab gave them early life, and NFL star quarterback Mahomes orchestrated just enough to keep the Chargers off-balance and get the W.
16. Pittsburgh Steelers: (Last Week #13)
It took a while to warm up, but once the Steelers’ offense got rolling, they put Cleveland to bed, finishing with 27 points.
15. Washington Commanders: (Bye)
The Commanders’ offense has been a little inconsistent in recent weeks, but they deserve credit for the hot start they had to the year.
14. Seattle Seahawks: (Last Week #16)
Between the power running of Zach Charbonnet and Geno Smith’s accuracy this week, Seattle’s offense was in full control of the game flow.
13. Los Angeles Chargers: (Last Week #7)
This offense has all the pieces, but they need to figure out how to put it together for four quarters. When this NFL team is clicking, they’re dangerous, but it seems like it takes a couple of different tries to really get them going.
12. Houston Texans: (Bye)
The Texans have one of the more talented offenses in the league, but injuries and questionable play-calling have really taken a toll on them.
11. Philadelphia Eagles: (Last Week #3)
Saquon Barkley’s 124 yards were the saving grace, and he continues to be the engine driving this team. But outside of Barkley, it was a grind for the Eagles offense in Week 14.
10. Baltimore Ravens: (Bye)
Baltimore’s offense is legit. This NFL unit is versatile, explosive, and capable of grinding out tough yards — everything you want in a Super Bowl-caliber offense.
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: (Last Week #9)
Week 14 was up and down for Tampa Bay, but White’s fourth-quarter touchdown run and McMillan’s second score sealed the deal. It wasn’t pretty, but it got the job done — and in the NFC South, that’s enough.
8. Denver Broncos: (Bye)
The Broncos’ offense won’t win style points, but they’re finding ways to be productive. Courtland Sutton is having a resurgent year as Nix’s go-to target, and Javonte Williams is running hard, though the offensive line remains inconsistent.
7. Miami Dolphins: (Last Week #10)
This offense needed to deliver and deliver they did. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle were electric, combining for 214 yards, as they poured it on an uninspired Jets D.
6. Minnesota Vikings: (Last Week #15)
This was an absolute fireworks show. Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson went off, each topping 100 yards with multiple touchdowns, as Atlanta had no answer for this NFL team’s offense this week.
5. Green Bay Packers: (Last Week #6)
When they did move, they moved well — Josh Jacobs punched in three touchdowns, and Love found rhythm in the second half. But a few big plays, or the lack thereof, cost them.
4. Cincinnati Bengals: (Last Week #2)
The Bengals offense has not been the problem this season, as they’ve been near the top of the league in most categories all season. Monday Night Football was no exception, as they cruised to 27 points against a battered Dallas defense.
3. Los Angeles Rams: (Last Week #19)
This was the Rams’ offense we have been waiting for all year. Puka Nacua was unstoppable, with 12 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown, while Kyren Williams bulldozed his way to 87 yards and two scores on the ground. The offensive line held firm and gave star NFL quarterback Stafford the time he needed to pick apart the Bills.
2. Detroit Lions: (Last Week #4)
This offense plays with Dan Campbell’s soul: bold, fearless, and always teetering on the edge of chaos. They went for it on fourth down five times and did well to turn those risks into points.
1. Buffalo Bills: (Last Week #1)
Obviously, the 42-point outburst was impressive, but Buffalo’s slow start buried them too deep. They moved the ball at will in the fourth quarter, but this isn’t college football. You can’t just play one good quarter and expect to win.
