Through 12 weeks, the league’s offenses have started to sort themselves into distinct tiers, with some NFL teams turning in top-notch performances on a weekly basis, while others just sort of flounder about.
So dive in and see how all 32 NFL offenses stack up as the 2024 season heads into its final stretch.
Which NFL teams had the best-ranking offense after week 12?
32. Jacksonville Jaguars (bye): (Last Week #32)
This unit has been a disappointment across the board, failing to build any momentum. With Mac Jones under center, there is no sign of things improving any time soon, regardless of the bye week.
31. New York Giants: (Last Week #30)
The Giants’ offense was lifeless for most of the game, finishing with just 245 total yards. Another week of humiliation.
30. San Francisco 49ers: (Last Week #12)

This offense never found its rhythm, scoring just 10 points and squandering critical opportunities without its leader, NFL QB Brock Purdy, under center.
29. Indianapolis Colts: (Last Week #19)
Indianapolis moved the ball alright but couldn’t finish drives, settling for field goals instead of touchdowns in what was ultimately a pretty weak showing.
28. Las Vegas Raiders: (Last Week #25)
The Raiders offense was a patchwork effort again this week, leaning heavily on Jakobi Meyers, who turned in his best NFL game in years with 10 catches for 121 yards. However, their ground game was non-existent, and they really struggled to sustain drives.
27. Dallas Cowboys: (Last Week #31)
The Cowboys’ offense wasn’t explosive by any means, but they sustained their drives enough to keep Washington on the field and get the win.

26. New England Patriots: (Last Week #22)
New England’s offense was stagnant for most of the day. The Patriots didn’t reach the end zone until the fourth quarter.
25. New York Jets (bye): (Last Week #23)
This NFL team’s offense has been a disaster, plain and simple. Outside of Breece Hall, there’s been little to get excited about. No rhythm, limited production, just bad across the board.
24. Atlanta Falcons (bye): (Last Week #27)
The passing game remains underwhelming, and their inability to finish drives in the red zone has left points on the board. Heading into the bye, the offensive line and play-calling will need to start making adjustments.
23. Cleveland Browns: (Last Week #29)
Cleveland’s offense showed flashes of competence in the swirling snow, which is more than you can usually say for this group. Nick Chubb looked like he was starting to get his legs back under him, and a couple of clutch plays were enough to get the win.
22. Tennessee Titans: (Last Week #28)
Tennessee had one of its best offensive outings of the season. The running game, led by Tony Pollard’s 119 yards and a touchdown, provided stability and opened up opportunities for Will Levis, which the second-year quarterback took advantage of.
21. New Orleans Saints (bye): (Last Week #20)
New Orleans’s offense has been a rollercoaster, with flashes of explosiveness offset by long stretches of stagnation during their NFL games. That said, they have looked MUCH better since Dennis Allen was fired a couple of weeks back.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers: (Last Week #18)
Wilson managed to orchestrate a fourth-quarter comeback to take the lead, but the unit was otherwise stagnant for most of the game. The running game failed to get going, and the receivers were quiet outside of a couple of big plays.
19. Carolina Panthers: (Last Week #26)
Carolina’s offense played well this week against a strong Chiefs defense, totaling 27 points and nearly pulling off a big-time upset.
18. Chicago Bears: (Last Week #24)
Caleb Williams spread the ball effectively, with DJ Moore and Keenan Allen combining for 192 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Still, the red-zone inefficiency and lack of a consistent run game was troubling.
17. Seattle Seahawks: (Last Week #21)
Week 12 was a modest showing for the Seattle offense, which leaned heavily on Smith-Njigba, who led the way with six catches for 77 yards and the team’s only offensive touchdown.
16. Washington Commanders: (Last Week #13)
Not the most consistent showing from the Commanders’ offense this week, as they struggled to sustain drives against a weak Cowboys defense.
15. Houston Texans: (Last Week #11)
Joe Mixon was a non-factor, managing just 22 rushing yards, which put even more pressure on Stroud to carry the load. For Houston to make a serious playoff push, this unit must raise its level and protect the football better.
14. Los Angeles Rams: (Last Week #8)
The Rams’ offense was okay on Sunday Night Football but clearly lacked the firepower it needed to go toe-to-toe with the Eagles, one of the NFL’s strongest teams, in prime time.
13. Minnesota Vikings: (Last Week #15)
Week 12 was a great showing for the Vikings offense, led by Jordan Addison, who erupted for a career-high 162 yards and a touchdown.
12. Kansas City Chiefs: (Last Week #16)
Kansas City’s offense was sharp, scoring on six of eight possessions. Noah Gray shined with two touchdowns for the second straight week, stepping up in a big way alongside DeAndre Hopkins and Travis Kelce.
11. Arizona Cardinals: (Last Week #4)
The Cardinals offense, which averaged nearly 30 points per game over the last three weeks, was nowhere to be found in Seattle.
10. Green Bay Packers: (Last Week #17)
Josh Jacobs stole the show in Week 12. The running back rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns, making him the first player in 55 games to crack the 49ers’ 100-yard rushing barrier, as Green Bay exploded for 38 points in the win.
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: (Last Week #14)
Tampa Bay’s offense exploded this week for 30 points on the strength of a dominant showing from the running game, with Sean Tucker, Bucky Irving, Baker Mayfield, and Rachaad White each finding the end zone.
8. Denver Broncos: (Last Week #9)
The budding connection between rookie NFL QB Bo Nix and Courtland Sutton continues to drive the Denver offense. The duo connected eight times, racking up 97 yards and two scores.
7. Baltimore Ravens: (Last Week #6)
Monday Night Football handed the Ravens a tough matchup in a strong Chargers defense, but credit to Baltimore for fighting hard in a physical game.
6. Los Angeles Chargers: (Last Week #5)
The Chargers offense has been much improved over the past few weeks, as Jim Harbaugh has started to open up the playbook and build on that strong, run-first foundation he laid at the beginning of the year.
5. Miami Dolphins: (Last Week #10)
Miami’s offense looked like a well-oiled machine with Tua back under center. Jaylen Waddle was electric, racking up a season-high 144 yards and a touchdown, while De’Von Achane added two scores.
4. Buffalo Bills (bye): (Last Week #7)
The emergence of James Cook as a reliable weapon out of the backfield has added another dimension to what was already a dynamic NFL offense.
3. Detroit Lions: (Last Week #1)
Detroit wasn’t its normal explosive self on Sunday, but it didn’t have to be, as they bullied a young Colts defense to the tune of 24 points.
2. Cincinnati Bengals (bye): (Last Week #2)
With Burrow under center, they have been lethal for most of this year, but the defense has been so poor that the execution has to be near-perfect to get a win.
1. Philadelphia Eagles: (Last Week #3)
The Eagles’ offense was a masterpiece of efficiency and explosiveness. Saquon Barkley stole the show with a historic performance, but A.J. Brown’s six catches for 109 yards and a touchdown was something to behold as well.
