We saw a firestorm of offense during Week 5, with more than enough touchdowns and jaw-dropping plays to go around in the NFL.
But who’s got the most firepower? And who’s still struggling to find their rhythm? Let’s dive into our power rankings of all 32 NFL teams’ offenses as we go from worst to first.
Which teams had the best offense in the entire NFL after week 5?
32. Cleveland Browns (Last Week #30)
There is no silver lining coming out of Week 5 for the Browns offense. Deshaun Watson still looked completely broken, and the offense couldn’t get anything going. They were flat-out ineffective all afternoon, mustering just 13 points.
31. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #32)
Miami’s once high-powered offense is a complete shell of itself without Tua Tagovailoa. Luckily, they were able to get some production on the ground, as Jaylen Wright and Raheem Mostert combined for 166 rushing yards.
30. New England Patriots (Last Week #31)

The Patriots offense was, at best, inconsistent. At worst… a disaster. Rhamondre Stevenson was the lone bright spot with 89 yards and a first-quarter touchdown that put New England up early.
29. Carolina Panthers (Last Week #21)
The Panthers started the game on the right note, with Chuba Hubbard breaking free for a 38-yard touchdown to give them an early lead, but the offense went silent shortly after, and they finished with just 10 points.
28. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #23)
The Raiders’ offense looked like it was hit hard by Davante Adams’ second straight absence. Beyond a couple of big plays, like Brock Bowers’ 57-yard touchdown catch, which was the highlight of the day for them, the offense really couldn’t get it going.
27. Los Angeles Chargers (bye) (Last Week #27)
The Chargers’ offensive line must protect Herbert better, especially with Denver’s pass rush looming in Week 6.

26. Tennessee Titans (bye) (Last Week #22)
Tennessee’s offense has been hit-or-miss this season, and it headed into the bye week with major questions following Will Levis’s exit last Monday. That said, this week should be a good opportunity to regroup and retool their offensive strategy heading into a big AFC South showdown with the Colts.
25. New York Jets (Last Week #19)
The Jets offense didn’t exactly light it up on Sunday… far from it. There was no rhythm, no consistency, just a lot of stalled drives, boneheaded penalties, and costly turnovers. Not a recipe for success.
24. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #10)
The Steelers offense was simply not good enough in Week 5. Fields’ struggles in the passing game forced the Steelers to lean too heavily on the run, but nothing seemed to click. Their best moment came on a 63-yard drive capped by a shovel pass to Pat Freiermuth, but aside from that, it was shaky at best.
23. Denver Broncos (Last Week #29)
Denver struggled on third downs, converting just 3 of 12, but they made the most of the short fields gifted by their defense en route to a 34-point explosion against a struggling Raiders team.
22. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #28)
Jacksonville’s offense was clicking left, right, and center on Sunday. Brian Thomas and Tank Bigsby were both big-time contributors alongside Trevor Lawrence as they racked up 37 points in their first win of the season.
21. New York Giants (Last Week #24)
With the team missing Malik Nabers and Devin Singletary, no one was expecting much out of the Giants’ offense this week, but they had some key performances in their stead. Tyrone Tracy took the opportunity to get some carries and ran with it, literally, rushing for 129 yards in a breakout showing. In the passing game, Darius Slayton stepped up as Jones’ go-to target, snagging eight catches for 122 yards.
20. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #18)
Without Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, it is understandable that this Rams offense looks different. They did well to rely on Kyren Williams, who rumbled for another 100-yard day, but they just didn’t have the consistency to get the job done on Sunday.
19. Chicago Bears (Last Week #25)
Chicago’s offense put up a smooth 36 points on Sunday, largely thanks to the duo acquired in that blockbuster 2023 trade. DJ Moore was a force against his old squad, looking every bit like the game-changer they’ve been wanting him to be this year by snagging two touchdown passes and finishing with 105 yards. Caleb Williams had arguably his best game as a pro.
18. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week #17)
For Dallas, the night was as much about missed chances as it was about seizing late opportunities. Eleven penalties and untimely turnovers allowed Pittsburgh to hang around far longer than they should have, but credit to the Cowboys for getting the job done on that final drive to steal the victory back.
17. Philadelphia Eagles (bye) (Last Week #20)
Philadelphia’s offense is dangerous when healthy, but injuries to DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown have severely limited their potential and had a major impact on Jalen Hurts’s productivity.
16. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #26)
While the absence of Jonathan Taylor hurt their ground game, the Colts didn’t miss a beat offensively during Week 5 with Joe Flacco turning back the clock and carving the Jaguars defense up for well over 300 yards and three scores.
15. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #13)
It wasn’t going to be an A+ performance from the Packers offense without Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs, but that group got some major contributions from the likes of Tucker Kraft and Jayden Reed. Green Bay was able to overcome some pitiful third-down efficiency (one for eight) to eke out 24 points and a W.
14. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #12)
Kenneth Walker III and the ground game struggled against New York’s front, which made things challenging for Geno Smith and the passing attack. The offense had very little flow to it in Week 5, and it manifested itself into a devastating loss during their recent NFL match.
13. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #15)
The Cardinals’ top offensive guys came to play on Sunday, and they helped Arizona claw back from a deficit and take home a signature win that could have ripple effects on an increasingly competitive NFC West. James Conner and Kyler Murray were super locked in, which they had to be to overcome this 49ers defense.
12. Buffalo Bills (Last Week #11)
Buffalo’s offense was not fluent at all on Sunday when they were playing in Houston. They managed just 276 yards of offense and 20 points, and they couldn’t convert on third down to save their lives, finishing just 3 for 14.
11. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #8)
Week 5 wasn’t the best showing for Sam Darnold, Justin Jefferson, and the rest of the Minnesota Vikings offense, but they did manage to eke out enough offense to get the win. They finished the game with a modest 253 total yards and 23 points.
10. Houston Texans (Last Week #9)
Cam Akers’ 15-yard TD run and Nico Collins’ electric 67-yard touchdown reception jumpstarted Houston to a 20-3 lead on Sunday, but the offense really flattened out in the second half. Luckily, they were able to catch just enough of a second wind to hang on to the victory.
9. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #4)
The Niners’ offense fell flat in the red zone, scoring just one touchdown on six attempts inside the 20, thanks to poor execution, like Jordan Mason’s fumble at the Arizona 8-yard line.
8. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #16)
The Bengals’ offense was clicking all day, and Burrow’s connection with Chase and Higgins was a thing of beauty to behold as they combined for four touchdowns. They racked up 38 points and 371 yards, albeit in vain, as they fell to Baltimore in overtime.
7. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #14)
Thirty-six points and a massive total of 550 yards of offense— the Falcons offense was buzzing on Thursday Night Football and a huge part of securing a big divisional win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #6)
You can’t say that the Buccaneers’ offense wasn’t effective on Thursday, with Baker Mayfield finding Mike Evans twice for scores and the team putting up 30 points, but they ultimately couldn’t keep pace with the Falcons.
5. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #7)
New Orleans did not have enough firepower to get it done on Monday Night Football against the Chiefs this week. Granted, with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid on the other side, that is a tall order, but they were undeniably unexceptional.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #5)
No Rashee Rice? No problem. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense continued to cruise as they moved the ball effortlessly against a strong Saints defense.
3. Washington Commanders (Last Week #3)
Everything was working offensively on Sunday for Washington. The ground game absolutely punished the Browns. The combination of Brian Robinson Jr., Austin Ekeler, Jayden Daniels, and Jeremy McNichols racked up over 200 rushing yards. This helped unlock Terry McLaurin, who had his best game of the year, with four catches for 112 yards.
2. Detroit Lions (bye) (Last Week #1)
The Lions’ offense has been super impressive of late. You have to think that Coach Campbell is hoping that they don’t lose that magic during the bye week!
1. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #2)
Week 5 was a monster showing for the Baltimore Ravens offense across the board. Derrick Henry’s 51-yard rumble in overtime was the exclamation point, and his earlier touchdown was impressive in his own right. Through the air, Zay Flowers was nearly unstoppable, racking up 111 yards. Forty-one points and 520 yards, what a game!
