11 weeks down, seven to go. Fasten your seatbelts, folks. Your favorite NFL team is either in the playoff race or in tank mode. All 32 NFL teams have something significant to play for.
With that, let’s dive into our Week 11 edition of the 2024 NFL power rankings.
Which teams are at the top of the NFL rankings after week 11?
32. Jacksonville Jaguars (32)
Huh, so the Jaguars did have another level of rock bottom to hit.
No Trevor Lawrence meant zero hope of avoiding humiliation in Motor City. The Jaguars were crushed 52-6 by the NFL’s No. 1 team, the latest reminder that this team is broken and beyond saving.
A new GM and coach alone can’t fix this. The 2-and-9 Jaguars have little to celebrate outside of Brian Thomas, Josh Hines-Allen, and Travon Walker. Drastic roster changes are needed, regardless of who’s calling the shots here next year.
31. Tennessee Titans (31)

There wasn’t much of anything to like in the Titans’ 10-point home loss to the superior Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The loss dropped the Titans to 2-and-8 as they continue to ace the art of tanking for a top-five pick.
Head coach Brian Callahan would go back to Mason Rudolph if he wanted to win. Or, keep Will Levis in there, tank, and get yourselves, Shedeur Sanders or Carson Beck. Chess, not checkers, folks!
30. Las Vegas Raiders (30)
If it’s any consolation for Raiders fans, just look at that remaining schedule. They probably won’t win more than a single game the rest of the way. Two max. Like the Titans, this is an utterly successful tank job if we’ve seen one.
29. New York Giants (29)
Losers of five straight, the unraveling Giants got a much-needed bye week before their Week 12 clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Similar to the Raiders, the Giants’ unforgiving schedule the rest of the way means you can probably pencil them in for a top-five pick.
Not that it’s a bad thing, right Giants fans?
28. Cleveland Browns (28)
Jameis Winston had 395 passing yards and two touchdowns against his old NFL team…and the Browns still lost to the New Orleans Saints by 21 points. Man, these guys can’t do anything right.
Good for Jameis to give this offense SOME life. If it wasn’t evident enough before, it is now: Deshaun Watson was holding this offense back and can’t be the starting QB under any circumstances next year.
In the meantime, the Browns are on a short week as they try to play “spoiler” against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.
27. New England Patriots (27)
The Patriots kept it closer than expected against a superior Los Angeles Rams team, but a pair of turnovers proved costly in a frustrating 28-22 defeat.
New England’s 3-8 record impresses nobody, but they’re at least showing fight compared to the NFL teams below them here. Four of their losses have been decided by six points or less. You don’t think these guys aren’t excited to play spoiler down the stretch?

26. New York Jets (25)
If this stat doesn’t sum up this year’s New York Jets…what does?
We suppose the Jets were nice to hand Anthony Richardson and the Colts a season-saving victory on a silver platter. But seriously, how much lower can Aaron Rodgers’ squad go? Losing out certainly isn’t something to put past them…
25. Dallas Cowboys (24)
BREAKING NEWS: The Cowboys are horrible.
Losing to Houston by 24 at home without Dak Prescott wasn’t shocking. But it’s still embarrassing. We’re out of jokes regarding Jerry Jones’ squad at this point. It’s disgraceful that he put his team in this spot by sleeping through the offseason.
Can Jerry, the owner, fire Jerry, the GM yet?
24. Carolina Panthers (26)
You know it’s a weird year when the Panthers aren’t even a bottom-10 team despite a 3-and-7 record. Oh, the humanity.
Carolina was on its bye week following back-to-back wins. Unfortunately for them, the other terrible NFL teams also lost this week — so Carolina might not actually finish with the top-five draft pick they sorely need come April.
23. Chicago Bears (19)
You just knew the Bears were gonna blow it. Because it’s the Bears, and it involved their Kryptonite. Of course, Cairo Santos wasn’t going to make the game-winning kick.
Safe to say that the Jayden Daniels Hail Mary broke the Bears. Four straight losses now. The playoffs are over. Caleb Williams needs an actual head coach if he’s to prosper at the professional level.
Chicago’s final seven games are against teams in the playoff mix. We’d be impressed if Chicago finished better than 6-11.
22. New Orleans Saints (23)
Hey, look! The Saints are 2-0 since firing Dennis Allen! It’s as if one of the worst coaches in history was holding them back! Who saw that coming?
Anywho, the Saints are just two games behind the suddenly slumping Atlanta Falcons for tops in the NFC South. The odds of getting in are still awfully slim, but at least the Saints are showing some fight. If they finish strong, it’ll remind everyone that the coaching – not the roster — was the problem.
21. Cincinnati Bengals (17)
Sunday’s heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers will do it for your 2024 Bengals. At 4-7, there’s no shot at the postseason now.
It’s unbelievable that Joe Burrow leads the league in passing yards and that Ja’Marr Chase tops in receiving yards. To be this bad? You can point the finger at the defense and kicker Evan McPherson. Don’t be shocked if a coaching change is in the works, either.
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (20)
This was a nice bye week for the Bucs, alright. The Falcons got clobbered by the Broncos, keeping Tampa’s slim NFC South dreams alive.
The Bucs only have one game left against an NFL team above .500. With an easier schedule than Atlanta, Baker Mayfield and company can very well steal this division from under the Falcons’ noses.
19. Indianapolis Colts (21)
Wow! Anthony Richardson replaces a washed-up Joe Flacco, sparks the Colts’ offense, and leads them to a season-saving victory! Who saw that coming?
At 5-and-6, Indy is one game behind Denver for the AFC’s last wild-card spot. The two teams square off in Week 15. Four of Indy’s last six games are against teams in the running for the top pick, too. Don’t sleep on these guys.
18. Miami Dolphins (22)
Tua Tagovailoa had a field day against a woeful Raiders team, delivering Miami a second straight win to keep their minimal postseason hopes intact.
Miami has to go 6-and-1 the rest of the way to have any shot at the postseason. Their toughest remaining game is in Green Bay, but the Packers have been better on the road than at home. So bet against a healthy Dolphins team at your own risk, folks…
17. San Francisco 49ers (12)
It almost feels like the 49ers are just content to miss out on the postseason. They gave another contest away in the waning seconds — this time to Geno Smith and the visiting Seattle Seahawks.
Smith, who’s been one of the worst QBs in football since October, put the game away with a late touchdown run. Now 5-5, the 49ers have matched last year’s L total. Their season is already on thin ice, and it doesn’t get easier with road games against the Packers and Bills next on the schedule.
16. Seattle Seahawks (18)
Seahawks fans got the full Geno Smith experience in Sunday’s win over the 49ers. One drive, he’s making back-breaking mistakes and giving San Fran every chance to win. The next, he’s orchestrating a season-saving game-winning drive over his Kryptonite. Go figure.
It hasn’t at all been pretty for the 5-5 Seahawks this year, but they’re just one game behind Arizona for tops in the NFC West. They play each other twice in the next three weeks. It’s go time for the ‘Hawks after stunning the 49ers.
15. Atlanta Falcons (13)
It’s becoming panic time in Atlanta, no? Two straight losses now, the latest a dreadful 38-6 road loss to the Denver Broncos that led to Kirk Cousins being pulled in the fourth quarter.
Atlanta is giving Tampa Bay a shot at stealing this division, and the Bucs have a much easier schedule to close out the season. After their Week 12 bye, the Falcons play the Chargers and Vikings. It’s time to buckle down and get serious again.
14. Los Angeles Rams (16)
Sunday’s win in New England was closer than it should have been, but the Rams will take a W however they can get ‘em. They’re now just a game behind Arizona for tops in the NFC West with three divisional games remaining.
But with the Eagles next on the schedule and the Bills approaching in Week 14, Sean McVay’s group must bring their A-game. The D especially has to pick it up.
13. Denver Broncos (15)
After suffering a heartbreaking loss in KC, Bo Nix and the Broncos put together their best game of 2024 — stomping on the NFC South-leading Falcons 38-6 to get back above .500.
Owners of the AFC’s final wild-card spot, the Broncos have the Raiders and Browns next on their schedule. Win those games and take down Indy in Week 15, and they can probably pop open the postseason celebration champagne prematurely!
12. Houston Texans (14)
The Texans took advantage of the “get-right” game against the sorry Cowboys and cruised to a 24-point victory, inching them closer to that AFC South division crown.
We know the Cowboys are awful, but it was encouraging to see the CJ Stroud-led offense get back to form with Nico Collins back in the lineup. With the Titans and Jaguars next on the schedule, the Texans might have this division clinched coming out of their Week 14 bye.
11. Arizona Cardinals (11)
Not a bad bye week for Kyler Muray’s squad. Arizona got to watch the Seahawks upset the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium, keeping Arizona in sole possession of first in the NFC West.
Arizona has four divisional games remaining, including two settings with Seattle in the next two weeks. Let’s see if Murray can end the whole “late-season collapse” narrative this time.
10. Washington Commanders (8)
Washington kept pace with the division-rival Eagles on Thursday night before imploding after Dan Quinn’s awful fourth-down decision in the final quarter. The result was a 26-18 loss that dropped Washington to 7-4, meaning it’ll take a miracle now to catch Philly for the division crown.
The Commanders just need to turn the page and focus on a get-right game vs. the Cowboys this week. It would still take a collapse of epic proportions for Washington to miss out on the postseason.
9. Los Angeles Chargers (10)
Just when it looked like another “Chargers gonna Chargers” loss, the Bolts regained their form just in the nick of time to sneak past the desperate Bengals on Sunday night.
Jim Harbaugh can’t be happy that his well-coached NFL team somehow blew a 21-point lead. But they got the W, and it’s just something they can’t let happen again. Not with tougher opponents leading.
But at 7-3, the playoffs are almost a lock at this point. The Chargers can’t Charger it up and blow it…right?
8. Baltimore Ravens (5)
After back-to-back home wins, the Ravens fell 18-16 to the archrival Steelers at Acrisure Stadium. Now at 7-4, Baltimore needs a miracle to steal the AFC North from Mike TOMLIN and company.
The sky is NOT falling for a Super Bowl contender that’s still 7-and-4. But if they lose to the Bolts in the “Harbaugh Bowl” on Monday night? Let’s reach a bit closer to the panic button…
7. Green Bay Packers (9)
Death, taxes, and the Packers beating the Bears. The more that stays the same.
Following the Chiefs’ playbook from Week 10, the Packers blocked the Bears’ game-winning field goal on the game’s final play to pull out a win by the hair.
At 7-3, the Packers are comfortably in a playoff berth and would have to endure a miserable late-season collapse to miss out. At this point, they’re fighting for seeding, with the Lions poised to run away with the NFC North.
6. Minnesota Vikings (7)
The Vikings have inexplicably played down to their opponents during their three-game winning streak. They let the Titans keep it closer than it should have been, and the Vikings must play a full 60 minutes when the difficulty of opponents increases. But hey, a win’s a win, and the playoffs are a gimme at this point.
Minnesota has a miserable stretch to close out the season after visiting Chicago on Sunday, so let’s see if Kevin O’Connell’s group rises to the challenge.
5. Philadelphia Eagles (6)
Those who cited the Eagles’ soft schedule for their hot start? We ask what you say now after Thursday’s statement win over the Commanders.
The Eagles have won six straight, have the NFC East on cruise control, and boast a top-10 scoring offense and defense. Any more questions about whether they’re for real?
4. Pittsburgh Steelers (4)
Mike Tomlin’s guys just keep finding weird ways to win. No touchdowns against the Ravens? No problem. Chris Boswell’s six field goals and the defense’s flex on Lamar Jackson’s offense were more than enough to squeak out an 18-16 victory.
Russell Wilson is now 4-0 as the Steelers starter. At 8-2, they have the AFC North on cruise control. The schedule does them plenty of favors, with the Browns, Bengals, and Browns again making up their next three games.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (2)
With how much luck they were getting, the Chiefs were due for a loss. Plus, Patrick Mahomes always loses to Buffalo in the regular season. So, we won’t chalk up their first loss of 2024 as a big concern.
The Chiefs were long overdue for a stinker game. It had to happen against their biggest challenge in the AFC. The pressure of an undefeated season is off, and now they can focus strictly on securing the conference’s top seed.
2. Buffalo Bills (3)
The Bills steal the No. 2 spot from Kansas City after handing the defending champs their first loss of 2024. And boy, did they do it in style, with a Josh Allen rushing TD putting the game away late in the fourth.
That win has to feel good for Bills fans, considering the Chiefs ended their season in Buffalo 10 months earlier. Suddenly, the Bills have a shot at the AFC’s top seed.
Weird but true: Buffalo has won its last four regular-season games against Mahomes’ Chiefs. Now, if they could just somehow beat them in January…
1. Detroit Lions (1)
We know it was the Jaguars, but still! A 52-6 victory at home is still utterly impressive.
645 yards of offense? A 400-yard game from Jared Goff? What can’t the Lions offense do at this point?
Winners of eight straight, the Lions are clearly the class of the NFC. With the Colts and Bears next on the schedule, Detroit is looking at an 11-1 record heading into December. Hard to imagine them losing the No. 1 spot any time soon.
