With Monday Night Football in the rearview mirror, we are on to Week 17 of the NFL season. Let’s take a gander around the National Football League and stack rank every team’s offense.
32. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week #29)
The Chargers offense looked bad again Easton Stick at the helm, as their Thursday Night showing wasn’t anything to write home about. They did manage to run up 22 points and just under 275 yards and looked far more competent than they did the week prior against Las Vegas.
31. Washington Commanders (Last Week #25)
The Washington Commanders rallied late in the Meadowlands, but once again their offense looked woefully out of sorts for most of the afternoon, as they finished with under 250 yards of total offense.
30. New York Giants (Last Week #27)
The Giants offense looked relatively effective this week, particularly in the second half once Tyrod Taylor was slotted back into the action for Tommy DeVito. He missed one or two throws, yes, but Taylor also moved the ball downfield at a pass unseen in the first half with DeVito under center.

What’s more is—the Giants almost came back and forced overtime with Taylor at the helm, despite seeming completely out of this one at the half.
29. New York Jets (Last Week #32)
The Jets offense was a tale of two halves on Sunday. They came out firing, dropping 27 points on the Commanders during the first two periods, but went completely dormant in the second half, scoring just three and nearly blowing the game.
That said, it was still a vast improvement from what we’ve seen from the Jets offense in recent weeks.
28. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #20)
It was a tough showing for the Cardinals on Sunday at Soldier Field. Arizona limped to a mere 16 points, as they struggled to extend drives, converting less than 50% of their first downs.
27. Tennessee Titans (Last Week #23)
The Tennessee Titans offense did not look good this week with Ryan Tannehill back in for the injured Will Levis. They did run the ball fairly well, but Tennessee couldn’t move the ball with any real consistency and finished with just 17 points in the loss.
26. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #31)
What a resurgence from the Atlanta Falcons offense this week, led by Taylor Heinicke at quarterback—and rookie running back Bijan Robinson. Atlanta’s balanced attack gave Indy’s defense problem all game and the Falcons finished with 177 yards on the ground, 229 through the air, and a 29-point output that reversed a stretch of cold performances and saved their admittedly slim playoff hopes.
25. Houston Texans (Last Week #21)
Without C.J. Stroud at the helm, this Texans team just doesn’t pack the same offensive punch. They only managed to put 22 points on the board against Cleveland and made each last point look like a tremendous struggle, as 15 of them came in garbage time.
24. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #17)
Things have gone from bad to worse for the once-promising Jacksonville Jaguars. Doug Pederson’s gang continues to lose games—and this offense is prime suspect number one. The Jags managed just 12 points against a weak Buccaneers defense this week—and now faces the very real possibility of missing out on a postseason that once looked like a lock.
23. New England Patriots (Last Week #25)
What a showing from the New England Patriots, particularly during the second half of their Week 16 matchup with the Broncos. Denver had its back against the wall and was in desperate need of a win, but the Pats were unbothered racking up 26 points, including a 20-point third quarter to win it.
22. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #24)
The New Orleans Saints are one of the more puzzling offenses to watch. Most weeks, the box score would indicate they had a solid showing—this week they were nearly 50% on third down and went for 339 yards of total offense, but too often it is the case that nearly all of their production comes during garbage time.
21. Denver Broncos (Last Week #19)
Denver’s offense was inconsistent at best this week, as it faltered the mediocre Patriots in a must-win situation. There were simply too many stretches of play in which the Broncos couldn’t move the ball at all.
20. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #15)
What a buzzkill of a game for Bengals fans. The offense completely wet the bed against the Steelers this week, as Jake Browning looked as mortal as he has since his first start .
19. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #30)
The Steelers offense hasn’t looked like this all season. Pittsburgh looked completely different this week with Mason Rudolph under center, as they poured 34 points and nearly 400 yards of offense on Cincinnati.
18. Carolina Panthers (Last Week #28)
Carolina’s offense looked the best it has looked all season this week, as it shredded the Packers D for nearly 400 yards of offense and 30 points. Panthers fans breathed a collective sigh of relief as Bryce Young showed more promise than he has through most of his rookie season going for over 300 yards and two scores.
17. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #18)
The Vikings offense has looked explosive with Nick Mullens back under center, especially now that Justin Jefferson has returned to action, but unfortunately, they’ve seemingly completely embarrassed the run game—as they had just 11 attempts for 17 yards in the loss this week.
16. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #10)
Not sure what happened this week to the Colts. Indy’s offense tanked on the road against the Falcons, losing a pivotal game, largely due to its offensive ineptitudes.
When all was said and done, the Colts finished with just 10 points and 262 yards of total offense.
15. Chicago Bears (Last Week #22)
Chicago moved the ball very well at home this week against Arizona. The Bears notched 22 first downs and went for 420 yards of total offense against a decent Cardinals defense.
14. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #7)
Kansas City’s offense simply hasn’t looked right over the past few weeks. The uncharacteristic mistakes continue—a la the fumble when Isiah Pacheco tried to hand his direct snap off to Patrick Mahomes that probably should have been attributed to the superstar quarterback.
The Chiefs have fallen to 9 and 6 and if they want any chance of reclaiming Super Bowl glory this year, they will have to clean it up offensively.
13. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #16)
Green Bay had a bounce back performance this week offensively against a weak Panthers defense. They dominated on the ground, rolling the Panthers for 162 yards in route to a 33-point output.
12. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #11)
Seattle’s offense has done just enough over the last two weeks to eek out critical wins to keep them in the playoff race, but there does still seem to be something missing there. Even with Geno Smith back under center, they finished with just 273 yards of total offense and 20 points against a mediocre Titans defense.
11. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #13)
The Raiders offense wasn’t exactly balanced on Monday, as it finished with only 48 yards passing against the Chiefs, but credit to Las Vegas for finding a way to get the job done.
The Raiders went old school, leaning on the run for 157 yards, controlling the pace of play, and frustrating a talented Chiefs defense.
10. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week #9)
The Dallas Cowboys offense somehow wet the bed again, as they continue to fail to meet the bell when the level of competition rises. Dak missed a number of throws and the team’s drives routinely stalled out, as they finished with just 20 points in the loss.
9. Cleveland Browns (Last Week #14)
Week 16 was another stunningly impressive performance from the Browns offense, as they racked up 38 points and over 400 yards of offense against the Houston Texans.
8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #12)
Baker Mayfield has the Tampa Bay Bucs offense buzzing as of late. They marched all over the Jaguars this week to the tune 335 yards of total offense and 30 points in a huge win to put them in the driver seat in the NFC South.
7. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #1)
What a stunner from the San Fransisco 49ers this week. The offense completely backfired out of the gates. Brock Purdy simply could not stop throwing interceptions and the team fell at home in shocking fashion to the AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens.
6. Buffalo Bills (Last Week #3)
Buffalo’s offense wasn’t super sharp this week, but they did just enough to knock off the lowly Chargers, finishing with 335 yards of total offense and 24 points.
5. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week #6)
The Eagles offense played one of its more complete games in some time on Monday. Jalen Hurts was slinging the ball all over the yard and made a couple of good plays with his leg. It has also been reassuring to see Kenneth Gainwell take a more prominent roll in the offense, as last year’s playoff darling has looked might effective of late.
4. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #2)
The Dolphins offense wasn’t exactly its high-flying self this week against Dallas, but it still managed to do enough to secure the victory at home. Tua looked sharping going for just under 300 yards and a touchdown en route to a 22-point showing for the Fins.
3. Detroit Lions (Last Week #4)
The Detroit Lions offense looked a little slow out of the gate against Minnesota, but rallied in a big way—to score 30 points and compile 379 total yards of offense.
2. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #8)
Baltimore’s offense was on fire Monday Night against what is typically a nasty 49ers defense. They launched a balanced attack with 241 yards of offense and 102 yards on the ground—and did well to capitalize on the plethora of opportunities that their defense created for then.
1. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #5)
The Los Angeles Rams are winners of five of six and look like a legitimate NFC contender—largely because of the resurgence of Matthew Stafford and this high-powered offense. The veteran quarterback has found an awesome connection with Puka Nacua—and the emergence of Kyren Williams has brought the unit to another level.
