The NFL season is flying by. Let’s take a look across the league and try to evaluate where every team’s offense ranks.
32. New England Patriots (Last Week #31)
New England’s offense looks so bad that people are starting to suspect that Bill Belichick may have mastered the art of tanking. The Pats were shutout by the Chargers—and Mac Jones can’t catch any of the flack for this one either because it was Bailey Zappe under center.
31. New York Jets (Last Week #32)
Another week has come and gone and the Jets offense continues to get worse. This week, they tested the waters with Trevor Siemian at quarterback in the second half, but alas, it was the same gross incompetence that has plagued the team all season.
30. BYE New York Giants (Last Week #29)
The New York Giants slid back one slot in the rankings while on bye this week. Tommy DeVito has looked decent of late, but let’s face it that assessment is relative and this is still one of the worst offenses in the league.

29. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #28)
It was an ugly afternoon in Pittsburgh—both weather-wise and in terms of the Steelers offense. There is, however, a small sliver of hope, as the offense did seem to move better with Mitch Trubisky slotted in.
28. Carolina Panthers (Last Week #30)
The Panthers offense actually looked a little bit better this week, particularly when rushing the football. Perhaps the firing of Frank Reich gave the team some a minor boost.
27. BYE Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #27)
Interim head coach, Antonio Pierce, should have a chance to regroup with his team this week on the bye. They will have their work cut out for them Week 14 facing a stout Vikings defense.
26. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #25)
Monday Night Football was proof for anyone who still needs it that the Bengals offense is rather expectedly not the same without Joe Burrow. That said, the Bengals did actually string together some good drives.
25. Washington Commanders (Last Week #24)
Things are starting to get ugly in the Nation’s Capital. It appears that the turnover on the coaching staff did little to inspire the Commanders, as the offense looked out of sorts all game against the Dolphins.
24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #19)
Another big week for Mike Evans, as he and Baker Mayfield hooked up seven times for 162 yards and a score. The Buccaneers offense did just enough against a weak Carolina defense, finishing with 21 points and 322 total yards of offense.
23. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #17)
The Falcons got another crucial huge win this week against a strong Jets defense. The offense doesn’t deserve a ton of credit though, as the group only managed 13 points despite being handed a number of advantageous starting points thanks to their D.
22. Cleveland Browns (Last Week #22)
The final result may not have been what they wanted it to be, but the Browns offense didn’t look half-bad with Joe Flacco stepping into QB1 duties after a series of quarterback injuries The veteran quarterback moved well in the pocket and made a couple of really nice throws.
21. BYE Chicago Bears (Last Week #21)
The Bears offense has started to look much more promising in recent weeks with the return of Justin Fields and his budding relationship with D.J. Moore. It will be interesting to see what they look like in Week 14 coming off the bye against a weak Lions defense.
20. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #23)
Arizona looked better this week on offense. The Cardinals battled through some ugly weather conditions to score 24 points and secure a relatively easy win over the Steelers.
19. Tennessee Titans (Last Week #26)
This was the best we’ve seen the Titans offense look in weeks. Unfortunately, it still wasn’t enough because the team was still outpaced by the Colts.
18. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week #14)
Oh, how the mighty have fallen… The Chargers offense looked completely lost this week against Bill Belichick’s defense, only managing two field goals in a win, but snoozer of a game.
Los Angeles couldn’t even eclipse 250 yards of total offense and only managed to convert five of their 15 3rd downs.
17. Denver Broncos (Last Week #13)
After a hot stretch of play, the offense came a little unraveled for the Broncos this week in a gutting loss to the Houston Texans. Russell Wilson surrendered three interceptions, including one in the end zone on an attempted game-winning drive.
16. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #20)
After a slow start to their showdown at home against the Lions, the Saints looked great this Sunday. They scored 28 points in three quarters and might’ve scored more had Derek Carr not been knocked out of the game.
15. BYE Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #18)
The Vikings had the week to recuperate after that embarrassing loss to the Bears the week prior. They have an interesting matchup coming up against the Las Vegas Raiders and will need Joshua Dobbs to get back on track in hurry, as their playoff hopes are very much hanging in the balance.
14. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #16)
Man, this Colts team is entertaining to watch. Shane Steichen has them playing inspired football—and Gardner Minshew has been able to pull quite a few rabbits out of his hat of late. The gritty quarterback went for over 300 yards with two touchdowns in the thrilling overtime win against a Titans team that was desperately trying to make a last ditch effort at turning around their season.
13. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #15)
It is unclear if it was the injury healing up or what, but Geno Smith looked great this week leading the Seahawks offense against a strong Cowboys defense. Seattle was able to rack up 35 points and over 400 yards of total offense, but unfortunately, were out paced by Dak and the Cowboys.
Nevertheless, an impressive offensive showing.
12. Houston Texans (Last Week #10)
Once again, C.J. Stroud went out and proved why he is not only the obvious choice for Rookie of the Year, but also a potential MVP candidate. Denver’s defense has been nasty of late and he still shredded them for 274 and a score in a winning effort.
11. BYE Buffalo Bills (Last Week #8)
Buffalo got a chance to rest up this week after the heartbreaking loss to the Eagles. They’ll need their offense to come out firing in Week 14 against the Chiefs with their season very much on the line.
10. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #12)
Would you look at that! The Los Angeles Rams offense is starting to look like it did during their Super Bowl run a couple of years back. Cooper Kupp still didn’t appear 100%, but it is promising to have seen him get more involved in the offense this week.
Either way, 36 points and nearly 400 yards of offense is an impressive showing, especially against the Browns defense.
9. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #11)
With the way that the Packers played this week against a very strong Chiefs defense, there is reason to believe that this team has turned a corner offensively and is for real.
It will still take a few breaks to go their way for them to make the postseason this year after a slow start, but with the way that Jordan Love is slinging the ball around the field and making sound decisions—the sky may be the limit for this team.
8. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #4)
The Chiefs offense still looks like it is missing that last weapon to really start firing on all cylinders. Andy Reid’s group was uncharacteristically out of sync this week with a couple of costly penalties.
7. BYE Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #7)
Baltimore stayed put this week while on a well-deserved late-season bye week. The Ravens will need Lamar Jackson to bring his A-game next week against a revitalized Rams team that is looking to make a last-minute playoff push.
6. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #6)
The Eagles looked off this week against a 49ers team that has been playing defense at an extremely high level of late. Philly only managed 19 points—and their rushing attack was surprisingly meager, finishing with only 46 yards in the blowout loss at home.
5. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week #2)
What else is there to say about Jalen Hurts and this Philadelphia Eagles offense at this point. Every time the going gets tough, this group bands together and makes a run. The Birds were surgical in picking apart the Buffalo defense in their epic overtime Week 12 win.
4. Detroit Lions (Last Week #9)
Detroit’s offense went out and showed why they are one of the top units in the league this week, scoring 21 points within mere minutes of Sunday’s game against the Saints kicking off.
The Lions have playmakers all over the field and should continue to be a force to be reckoned with as long as Jared Goff continues to pull his weight.
3. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #5)
The Dolphins offense was high-flying in every sense of the expression this week, as it torched a reeling Commanders side for 45 points.
2. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #3)
Man, did the 49ers look good on Sunday afternoon against the Eagles. Deebo Samuel was unstoppable as the wide receiver scored three times and helped San Fran to avenge its loss in last year’s NFC Championship game.
1. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week #2)
Seattle may not be one of the top defensive teams in the league, but it was good to see Dak and the Cowboys offense ball out against another playoff contender. Dallas finished with 41 points, 411 total yards of offense, and proved their propensity to connect on chunk plays down the field.
