Now that Vikings-Niners is a wrap, Week 7 is officially in the books, but before we turn our attention to Week 8, let’s analyze where every NFL team’s offense stacks up.
32. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #29)
Tough showing for the Cardinals offensively this week, as the chips in Joshua Dobbs armor continue to become more obvious. He really struggled to hit receivers down the field and Arizona’s offense was stagnant all game.
31. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #30)
The Falcons got a big win on Sunday over the Bucs to edge their way into first place in the lowly NFC South, but the offense can’t take much of the credit. Ridder was okay, but had a costly fumble that nearly blew the game for Atlanta.
30. New York Giants (Last Week #32)
The Giants have now gotten back-to-back solid performances out of Tyrod Taylor—and this time, it resulted in a win over their division rival, the Washington Commanders. Taylor was efficient and largely mistake-free, while Saquon Barkley brought just enough of the big play spark to get New York over the hump and back in the win column.

29. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #28)
Man, is this Raiders team hard to watch…. Granted, Jimmy G was out of action, but the offense had zero rhythm and struggled all afternoon against an extremely mediocre Bears defense.
28. New England Patriots (Last Week #31)
For the first time in what feels like an eternity, the New England Patriots didn’t just win a game, but they did so in semi-entertaining fashion. Perhaps more importantly (at least to Pats fans) Mac Jones looked the best he has since his rookie year.
27. BYE Tennessee Titans (Last Week #26)
Tennessee had a much-needed bye this week after the drubbing they took in London the week prior. Let’s see if the offense can get back on track, perhaps with a healthy Ryan Tannehill next week when they host the Falcons.
26. Washington Commanders (Last Week #18)
Week 7 was not pretty for Sam Howell and the Commanders offense. They managed just 273 total yards of offense and were an abysmal one for 15 on 3rd down against a Giants defense that is admittedly much improved in recent weeks.
25. BYE Carolina Panthers (Last Week #25)
Carolina’s offense got a chance to recover on bye this week after being slaughtered by the Dolphins the week prior, before hosting the Houston Texans Week 8. They need to find new ways to scheme up the offense for Bryce Young, this offense has not been good all year.
24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #12)
This Buccaneers offense took a major step back this week against an admittedly tough Falcons D. Without an effective run game, Baker is going to continue to struggle. 73 rushing yards isn’t going to cut it.
23. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #22)
Aaron Jones looked good this week, but that was really the lone bright spot for the Packers in an ugly offensive showing and loss against the Broncos.
22. Denver Broncos (Last Week #19)
Having Javonte Williams back and fully healthy seems to have been a nice shot in the arm for this Broncos running back. He was explosive all afternoon taking 15 carries for 82 yards and opening up the play-action passing game for Russell Wilson, who had himself a respectable, turnover-free game.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #27)
Only time will tell if this one was more about the Steelers offense or the Rams defense, but it was refreshing to see Pittsburgh actually moving the ball consistently for once. George Pickens continues to be a matchup issue for defense, even when he’s not getting the ball, he’s done well to draw a lot of attention from opposing defenses.
20. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #17)
Minnesota really has had the deck stacked against it in recent weeks with the injury to Justin Jefferson. Kirk Cousins has played alright in his absence, but this team’s offensive ceiling is clearly limited without him.
19. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #16)
This was a bad loss for the Rams and the offense deserves to shoulder a lot of the blame. Puka Nacua was really the only player that showed up for McVay’s group.
18. Chicago Bears (Last Week #23)
No Justin Fields, no problem for the Chicago Bears. Tyson Bagent played great in his first career start, completing 21 of 29 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown, as the Bears trounced the Raiders, dropping 30 points on them.
17. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #24)
The Saints played alright offensively this week, but much of their production came once Jacksonville took its foot off the gas, nearly letting New Orleans steal the game down the stretch.
New Orleans needs to start extending the field, they are passing the ball a lot, but it seems every other route is a check-down or a shallow route underneath.
16. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #21)
The Colts offense was impressive this week with Gardner Minshew at the helm. Indy dropped 38 points, unfortunately in a losing effort, against Cleveland—one of the best defenses in the league.
15. Cleveland Browns (Last Week #20)
Deshaun Watson exited this one early for the Browns and at this point that might be a good thing. With PJ Walker under center, coupled with an assist or two from the defense, Cleveland put up 39 points
Cleveland’s run game has endured the loss of Nick Chubb nicely thanks to Kareem Hunt and Jerome Ford stepping up. They were critical in this one as the Browns nearly outgained their passing game on the ground, finishing with 150 rushing to 166 through the air.
14. BYE Dallas Cowboys (Last Week #15)
The Cowboys were on bye this week, but have slowly but surely been finding their footing offensively. They host the Rams next week and should be able to throw on their porous secondary.
13. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #10)
Seattle was good, but not great offensively against the Cardinals this week. Kenneth Walker III had a big game though, going over 100 yards on the ground—and the emergence of Jaxon Smith-Njigba could be big for the Seahawks in the second half of the season.
12. BYE New York Jets (Last Week #13)
The Jets had a well-deserved rest this week after their epic win over Philadelphia. It looks like they are starting to build momentum around Zach Wilson, but they’ll have a tough matchup against a Giants defense Week 8 that has been playing great of late.
11. Detroit Lions (Last Week #2)
Yikes, was it ugly out there for Detroit this week. Jared Goff was under attack all afternoon, as the Lions nearly got blanked offensively by the Ravens.
10. BYE Houston Texans (Last Week #11)
After a solid outing against the Saints, CJ Stroud and the Texans were on a bye this week. The Texans have been surprisingly competent on offense for most of the year behind its rookie quarterback.
9. BYE Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #8)
Hopefully, the bye week came at the right time for a Bengals offense that has been up-and-down all year. All eyes will be on Joe Burrow’s calf, as he braves it against a ferocious Niners defense next week.
8. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #9)
Week 7 was a big one for Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars, as they trounced the Saints 31-24. The Jags were consistent on the offensive side of the ball all game, averaging 5.9 yards per play.
7. Buffalo Bills (Last Week #5)
Outside of Stefon Diggs, the Bills look a little bit lost offensively of late. It was nice to see Dalton Kincaid step up with a solid outing, but when you lose to the 2023 Patriots, things clearly didn’t go as expected.
6. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week #7)
The Chargers are one of the most explosive offensive teams in the league when things are going right, but Justin Herbert has not had his a-game of late. He surrendered two picks against the Chiefs this week and missed a couple of throws that we expect him to nail at this point.
5. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #14)
What a week for Lamar and the Ravens offense. Coming into this one everyone was all over the Lions and Jackson torched them for 357 passing yards and three touchdowns, with no interceptions, in route to a 38-6 win.
4. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #1)
The Dolphins had a couple of moments offensively this week, but they struggled to find their usual rhythm against a nasty Eagles defense.
3. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #6)
The 49ers have been one of the best offensive teams in the league all season. It will take more than a couple of shaky performances for them to drop significantly in the rankings.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week #4)
When AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts are balling the way they did this week against Miami, the Eagles are one of the toughest teams in the league to slow down offensively. Having that kind of physical deep threat further opens the flood gates for the pounding Philly run game.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #3)
Once again, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are back atop of the offensive rankings. Mahomes and Kelce were dominant against the Chargers this week, connecting 12 times for a monstrous 179 yards and one touchdown in route to a 31-17 win that puts Kansas City firmly in the driver seat in the AFC West.
