With the conclusion of Chargers-Cowboys on Monday Night Football, we are now on to Week 6. Let’s look at where every NFL team’s offense ranks through six weeks of action.
32. New York Giants (Last Week #31)
The return of Saquon Barkley was nice, but ineffective, as the Daniel Jones-less Giants floundered about on the offensive side the ball all game.
New York moved the ball reasonably well, but couldn’t get in the endzone, instead settling for three field goals, spoiling a strong performance from its defense.
31. New England Patriots (Last Week #32)
Another week and another horrible showing from Mac Jones and this abysmal Patriots offense. This one has to sting a little extra for Belichick, as the loss came at the hands of his apprentice Josh McDaniels.
30. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #25)

After posting a nice bounce-back week offensively Week 5, Desmond Ridder and the Falcons regressed significantly this week and managed just nine points against the Rams.
29. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #28)
The Cardinals’ holes on the offensive side of the ball are really started to manifest themselves in a bad way. Dobbs completed just 21-41 passes and really struggled to extend the field, managing just 235 yards on all those attempts.
28. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #27)
Well, it wasn’t pretty, but the Raiders did just enough offensively to knock off the lowly New England Patriots. The win was not without its costs though, as Jimmy Garoppolo existed the game with a back injury.
27. BYE Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #29)
The Steelers offense had a chance to catch its breath this week on the bye. They’ll have a tough, road matchup Week 7, traveling to Los Angeles to face off with Aaron Donald the Rams.
26. Tennessee Titans (Last Week #19)
Tennessee clearly didn’t learn from Buffalo’s mistake in Week 5 and tried to travel out to England the Thursday before their game, only to come out completely flat. Derrick Henry showed some royal flashes, but the Titans passing game stalled out too often.
With the injury to Ryan Tannehill, the Titans season is now very much hanging in the balance.
25. Carolina Panthers (Last Week #30)
Carolina’s offense was simply not prepared to try and keep pace with the high-flying Dolphins. There were, however, some bright spots, as the Panthers got off to a great start and got another surprisingly solid performance from Adam Thielen, who went for 11 receptions, 115 yards, and a touchdown in the loss.
24. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #12)
New Orleans had a bizarre week offensively, as Derek Carr lit up the stat sheet throwing for 353 yards, but the team only managed to put 13 points on the board, as two turnovers and a six for 15 showing on third down limited their output.
23. Chicago Bears (Last Week #13)
Tough week for Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears offense. After two consecutive steps forward, they took a big one back against the Vikings, managing just 13 points at home, and Fields exited with a dislocated thumb.
22. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #16)
Green Bay’s offense has left much to be desired all season. Hopefully, they will be able to take this bye week to get back on track against the Broncos Week 7.
21. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #21)
The return of Jonathan Taylor this week proved underwhelming, as the Colts offense managed to put up just 20 points against a weak Jaguars defense.
20. Cleveland Browns (Last Week #26)
No Deshaun Watson against the 49ers? No problem. Cleveland brought in PJ Walker, who made just enough plays to complement the run game and an amazing performance from the Browns D to pull of the upset.
19. Denver Broncos (Last Week #20)
Denver’s offense started off okay this season, but has continued to look worse and worse, culminating in an embarrassing 8-point showing against the Chiefs in Arrowhead.
18. Washington Commanders (Last Week #24)
Sam Howell and the boys had a nice bounce back this week after getting embarrassed by the Bears last Thursday Night Football. The young quarterback was extremely efficient turning 14 completions into 151 yards and three touchdowns, as Washington capitalized on three costly Falcons INTs.
17. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #18)
Minnesota was good, but not great against Chicago. Considering they were missing Justin Jefferson, as they will be for the foreseeable future, it was a decent performance though.
16. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #23)
The return of Cooper Kupp has been huge for the Rams. Los Angeles did well to tread water in his absence, but they are really starting to hit their stride now. Stafford found his star receiver seven times for 148 yards and a touchdown, opening up a ton of opportunities for the Rams rushing attack, which erupted for 179 yards.
15. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week #17)
Dallas had a decent showing offensively on Monday Night Football. Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb got a nice connection going early and the Cowboys were really moving the ball. For Dallas to climb in the rankings, they’ll need to find a way to convert those opportunities into more points.
14. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #14)
Lamar was brilliant on Sunday, making plays with his legs and his arm, as he helped the Ravens fight off a scrappy Titans team that seemed poised to make a second-half comeback. It was good to see Zay Flowers come alive a bit, Baltimore will need to continue to get more out of its skill position players if it wants to really contend.
13. New York Jets (Last Week #11)
Zack Wilson still hasn’t broken through in the way Jets fans thought he might after a couple of promising outings, but the rest of this Jets offense is doing everything that it can to keep the team afloat. Both Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson have been the instant offense that this team desperately needs.
12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #9)
Tampa Bay looked rusty coming off the bye, managing just 251 total yards and six points against an admittedly tough Lions defense. Baker and the Bucs only slid back three spots, but if they can’t get back on track next week we may see a free fall.
11. Houston Texans (Last Week #14)
CJ Stroud and the Texans had a solid showing against a strong Saints defense. The rookie QB only had 13 completions, but managed 199 yards and two touchdowns on them. Houston also launched an extremely balanced and effective rushing attack, as the Texans had five ball carriers combine for 120 yards on the ground.
10. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #8)
The Seahawks may as well have still been on the bye with how they came out against Cinci this week. Geno moved the ball well, but a couple of costly interceptions kept Seattle from sealing the deal against a Bengals team that was playing with desperation.
9. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #22)
This was Jacksonville’s highest-scoring game of the season, but the 37 points were strangely hollow, as the Jags really didn’t get into a great groove offensively. That said, a down week on the offensive side of the ball across the league opened an opportunity for them to jump up in the standings.
8. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #10)
Cincinnati has a much more mild showing on the offensive side of the ball this week, but did just enough, turning a gutsy 24 for 35, 185-yard, two touchdown-performance from Joe Burrow into a 17-13 win over Seattle.
7. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week #7)
The Los Angeles Chargers are a hard one to figure out. They have all the potential in the world and in some moments look unstoppable, while in others, completely pedestrian. Monday Night was a decent showing from them against a really talented Cowboys defense.
6. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #1)
The 49ers offense has been so good this season, but with injuries to Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey, both the group as a hole and Brock Purdy had their worst showing of the season. San Francisco totaled just 215 yards in their shocking loss to Cleveland.
5. Buffalo Bills (Last Week #6)
Buffalo only totaled 14 points against the Giants this week, but that was all that the Bills needed in this one. Still, you would like to see a better performance from an offense that was pretty much held up single-handedly by Stefon Diggs, who was responsible for 100 of Josh Allen’s 169 passing yards.
4. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week #5)
The Eagles had a tough week offensively, against an admittedly stout Jets defense. Philly couldn’t get anything going on the ground, tush-push or otherwise, going for only 80 rushing yards.
To make matters worse for the Birds, Jalen Hurts had one of his worst games as a pro throwing three interceptions in the loss.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #4)
Kansas City only scored 19 points against the Broncos this week, but with the game never really in doubt we’ll give them a slight pass. Mahomes unsurprisingly had another solid showing, completing 30 of 40 attempts for 306 yards and one touchdown.
2. Detroit Lions (Last Week #2)
Detroit continued its tear, firmly establishing itself among the cream of the crop in the NFC. The injury to David Montgomery is concerning, but the Lions should have more than enough fire power to keep pace in his absence.
1. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #3)
Of all the league’s top teams, Miami had far and away the best offensive showing Week 6. Tua shredded the Panthers defense for 262 yards and three touchdowns and Raheem Mostert had no problem stepping back in for Achane, taking 17 carries for 115 yards and two scores.
