Now that the Packers and Raiders have wrapped up Week 4 with their showdown on Monday Night Football, we are officially on to Week 5. Let’s look at where every NFL team’s offense ranks through five games.
32. New England Patriots (Last Week #32)
Things have gone from bad to worse to unrecognizably embarrassing for the Patriots this year. After putting up just three points against a tough Dallas defense in Week 4, they were blanked by the Saints at home.
31. New York Giants (Last Week #28)
The Giants have been stunningly bad so far on the offensive side of the ball, which I’m sure comes as a big surprise and disappointment to a fanbase that got its hopes up after a shockingly solid 2022 season.
Daniel Jones continues to look lost under center and simply cannot protect the ball.
30. Carolina Panthers (Last Week #23)

Another week, another loss for the Panthers… and another week with a poor offensive showing. What’s crazy is that Bryce Young actually probably had his best game as a pro in this one too and that came with two interceptions in a double-digit loss.
29. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #25)
The Steelers offense looked about as bad as it could have this week against a solid Ravens team for three quarters and then somehow, someway pulled a rabbit out of its collective hat and scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to win it.
Impressive, yes, but Pittsburgh still has one of the worst offenses in the league by a considerable margin.
28. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #20)
Arizona ran into an extremely motivated Bengals defense this week and struggled. Joshua Dobbs came back down to earth surrendering a couple of picks in a 14-point loss.
27. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #29)
Another weak showing from Josh McDaniel’s Raiders offensively. Jimmy G is starting to show some signs, but the man is terrified to throw the ball down the field. To make matters worse, Josh Jacobs still has yet to regain his 2022 form. Even when this group is executing, it is simply never exciting.
26. BYE Cleveland Browns (Last Week #26)
The Browns were one of four recipients of an early bye this week and ultimately remained stationary. Cleveland still has a lot of work to do offensively, even if Deshaun Watson comes back healthy next week.
25. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #31)
The Atlanta Falcons had a nice bounce-back week offensively against a solid Texans side. Desmond Ridder played his best game as a pro, going for 329 yards and one touchdown—and we actually saw a Kyle Pitts appearance to boot!
24. Washington Commanders (Last Week #18)
Not the best showing from the Commanders this week against a poor Bears defense. Washington managed just 20 points in an embarrassing Thursday Night Football loss.
23. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #14)
The good news is that Cooper Kupp looked healthy as a horse in his return to action—and better yet, he and Puka Nacua seemed to complement each other nicely, which many had doubts. Unfortunately, the rest of the Rams offense struggled to find any rhythm against a strong Eagles D.
22. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #13)
Jacksonville has been a mixed bag offensively this year, in part because Trevor Lawrence, though much improved, is still making some of the same rookie-type mistakes the Jags were hoping he’d have grown out of by now.
21. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #21)
The Colts have continued to be one of the biggest surprises across the league this year, battling through some significant adversity with Anthony Richardson getting toggled in and out of the lineup due to injury. Indy won’t blow anyone away offensively, but they’ve continued to play competent football.
20. Denver Broncos (Last Week #17)
The Broncos offense had a decent performance considering the stout Jets D they were matchup against this week, but once again, Russell Wilson let them down during crunch time, surrendering a game-sealing fumble.
19. Tennessee Titans (Last Week #16)
After a big performance in Week 4, the Titans offense, unfortunately, took an equally big step back against the Colts this week. Deandre Hopkins seemed to be their only source of offense and Tennessee managed just 16 points in a critical loss.
18. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #15)
Minnesota has really come back down to earth this year. The running game that looked like it was getting back on track fell apart against the Chiefs, managing just 70 yards. The lack of output put way too much pressure on Kirk Cousins and the Vikes faltered against a solid Chiefs defense.
17. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week #8)
It was a tough showing from Dak and the Cowboys offense, but then again, it has been that way for every team that has had the misfortune of facing off against Nick Bosa and that nasty Niners D.
Still, if we are to believe Dallas to be a legitimate contender in the NFC, we are going to need to see more out of them offensively.
16. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #19)
Jordan Love did well to make some plays with his legs this week, both extending plays and advancing the football, but he needs to take care of the football better. Hopefully, as this season progresses, he and his teammates will continue to get in a better rhythm.
15. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #9)
What a stinker of a showing from a Ravens team that many thought was on a fast track to a high seed in the AFC Playoff picture. They managed just 10 points against an admittedly solid Steelers defense and the tape was somehow worse than that output.
14. Houston Texans (Last Week #12)
Week 5 was a bit of a down week for what has been a solid Texans offense thus far, but in their defense, they were facing a relatively stout Falcons D. CJ Stroud may have been outplayed in this one, but he has continued to look like the most competent rookie by a fair margin.
13. Chicago Bears (Last Week #24)
What a week for Justin Fields and this young Chicago Bears offense! He connected with D.J. Moore eight times for a mammoth 230 yards and three touchdowns. The Bears steamrolled the Commanders 40-20 marking their second consecutive solid offensive showing.
12. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #27)
It isn’t super clear if this week was more about the Saints offense or the Patriots defense, but have to give credit to Derek Carr and the Saints for how they rallied together offensively. Carr was efficient, completing 18 of 26 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns—and Alvin Kamara looks like he is starting to round back into form coming off his suspension.
11. New York Jets (Last Week #22)
Don’t look now but Zach Wilson and the Jets offense is starting to look somewhat competent. This was helped significantly by the governors being taken off of Breece Hall usage-wise. The dynamic running back can single-handedly change a game with his big play ability.
10. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #30)
Cincinnati finally got the offensive performance that it has been looking for all season. Its stars showed up in a big way—and when the team absolutely needed it most.
Joe Burrow found Ja’Marr Chase an in sane 15 times for 192 yards and three touchdowns, helping the Bengals cruise to a 34-20 win.
9. BYE Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #11)
With a couple of poor showings from teams that were in the top 10 last week, the Bucs have moved up by default while on their Week 4 bye. Next week will be a big test for Baker and his bunch, as they host a Lions team that has been playing exceptional football on both sides of the ball.
8. BYE Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #10)
The Seahawks were another beneficiary of the other team’s misery, sliding up two spots on their bye. Let’s see what Geno and the boys can do Week 5 against a Bengals team that is picking up momentum.
7. BYE Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week #7)
The Chargers had a nice chance to reset this week Justin Herbert, however, will have his work cut out for him next week against a Cowboys team that will be hungry for victory after an embarrassing performance this week.
6. Buffalo Bills (Last Week #1)
This was not the best showing from the Buffalo Bills, but they do deserve a slight pass as they were up against from a travel perspective this week shooting out to England two days before their matchup with a Jaguars team that had been acclimating for two weeks.
Buffalo slides five spots, but it will take another bad showing for us to even consider taking them out of the top 10.
5. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week #3)
Philadelphia wasn’t super explosive offensively this week, but they still proved to be too much for a solid Rams side. Their running attack is extremely physical and has given opposing defenses trouble all year.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #5)
Kansas City still seems to be trying to find its footing offensively, but Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are more than enough to keep them in the top five on his own. Thankfully, the Chiefs avoided disaster this week with Kelce’s injury not being as serious as it first looked.
3. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #6)
Week 4 wasn’t the sharpest for Miami, but the Fins high-flying offense still took care of business, putting up 31 points on a demoralized Giants team.
2. Detroit Lions (Last Week #4)
Detroit has quietly emerged as one of the top teams in the NFC. Jared Goff is playing phenomenal football—in part thanks to the play of his rookie tight end, Sam LaPorta and David Montgomery has been a problem for opposing defenses.
1. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #2)
The 49ers offense is scary good. Brock Purdy has emerged as a legitimate top-10 quarterback and San Fran has playmakers all over the field. Five weeks in, they are looking like front runners to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
