Week 3 was one for the books. There were points all over the place and we saw some crazy performances around the league. Let’s take a look at where every NFL team’s offense stacks up through three weeks.
32. New York Jets (Last Week #30)
The Jets offense is looking worse than we even feared after seeing Rodgers go down Week 1. It is clear that the other players don’t have any confidence in Zach Wilson and it is beginning to have a ripple effect throughout the unit.
31. Chicago Bears (Last Week #22)
Wow. What a horrible performance from the Bears offense against the Kansas City Chiefs. Justin Fields looks lost out there, the run game has disappeared and none of the wide receivers look particularly engaged.
30. Washington Commanders (Last Week #18)
Week 3 wasn’t it for the Sam Howell and the rest of that young Commanders offense. The first-year starter chucked four picks and Washington couldn’t get anything going against a mediocre Bills defense.

29. New England Patriots (Last Week #21)
Mac Jones is fortunate that the Pats were squared up with Zach Wilson and the Jets this week, otherwise, the national conversation might be about how weak their offense has looked. New England is averaging just over 17 points per game so far this season.
28. New York Giants (Last Week #29)
Granted, New York was up against a buzzsaw Niners defense, but that offense didn’t look particularly competent on Thursday Night Football without Saquon Barkley.
27. Denver Broncos (Last Week #20)
The story after Week 3 was the 70 points Denver allowed against Miami, but there’s a case to be made that the offense was somehow even worse. They only managed 20 points against a group that was in cruise control and watching the game, it was clear that at a certain point, the defense completely gave up, in part, due to frustration at the team’s offense woes.
26. Tennessee Titans (Last Week #17)
This was not a good week for Tennessee. The Titans managed just three points and 94 total yards against an admittedly tough Browns defense. Even still, an NFL team can’t play a full game and not top 100 yards that is unacceptable.
25. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week #27)
The Raiders offense simply has not found any rhythm this year. The run game, its only bright spot from last year, has been a complete bust and Jimmy Garoppolo looks incapable of elevating the unit on his own.
24. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #13)
Tough week for the Falcons offense as it ran into its toughest test thus far in the Detroit Lions. Bijan Robinson was limited to just 33 yards on 10 carries, which made it really challenging for Desmond Ridder to get anything going through the air. Six points isn’t going to cut it.
23. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week #25)
The Cincinnati Bengals offense struggled again this week, this time against the Los Angeles Rams. Burrow looked like he was starting to get more confident on that calf, but they are still a far cry from the standard they’ve set in recent years.
22. New Orleans Saints (Last Week #23)
Things were looking good for New Orleans this week, until Derek Carr went out with a shoulder injury, after which, the Saints blew a 17-0 lead. Hopefully, if Carr is going to be sidelined for an extended period of time, they can do more to get Jameis Winston prepared going forward.
21. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week #26)
It was a big win for the Colts this week against a solid Ravens team. The offense wasn’t explosive, but it was competent behind backup QB, Gardner Minshew, and they get bonus points for executing down the stretch with that game-winning field goal drive in overtime.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week #16)
Tough week for the Jaguars scoring just 17 points against a bad Texans defense. Trevor Lawrence struggled with his accuracy all afternoon completing just 27 of his 40 attempts. The lone bright spot was Travis Etienne Jr. looked strong averaging 4.6 a pop on 19 carries.
19. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #28)
While they only scored 23 points, the Steelers offense looked like it unlocked something this week with Calvin Austin III emerging as a deep threat. He only caught two passes, but accumulated 72 yards and it created much needed spacing for the rest of that offense, especially with Pittsburgh’s run game still struggling.
18. Cleveland Browns (Last Week #24)
Deshaun Watson has continued to look like a shell of himself and now that Nick Chubb has gone down with a presumably season-ending injury, things could go from bad to worse for the Browns offense.
17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week #15)
Tampa Bay ran into its first big test of the year in that vaunted Philadelphia Eagles defense and, well, the Eagles D proved too tall a task to tackle. They fought hard and moved the ball well in the fourth quarter, but when you only manage three points until garbage time, you are going to get docked in the rankings.
16. Green Bay Packers (Last Week #11)
Green Bay’s offense looked terrible in the first half this week, but after seeing the way that they rallied back in the fourth quarter behind a rookie QB, there is reason for Packers fans to believe—both in this team and its offense.
15. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week #10)
Dallas’ offense was not pretty in Week 3 against the Cardinals. It has been touted as one of the most efficient groups league-wide thus far, but it really struggled against a scrappy Arizona defense.
14. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week #5)
The Ravens offense didn’t look particularly crisp this week hosting the Colts. Lamar was all over the place accuracy-wise and Baltimore couldn’t get much going on the ground besides him.
13. Carolina Panthers (Last Week #32)
Apparently, the Carolina offense needed a little veteran presence, because with Bryce Young sidelined, the Panthers put up their best offense performance of the season, scoring 27 points in a 10-point loss to the Seahawks.
12. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week #19)
After their collapse in the second half of their Week 2 matchup with the Giants, people were predicting Arizona to get humiliated by Dallas this week, but Joshua Dobbs, Rondale Moore, and that offense scrapped together a solid performance, hanging 28 on the top-ranked Dallas D.
11. Houston Texans (Last Week #31)
The Houston Texans surprised a lot of people this week by dropping 37 points on the Jaguars. That was the best game of rookie quarterback, CJ Stroud’s, career. In part thanks to Tank Dell, who exploded for 145 yards and a touchdown on five catches.
10. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week #9)
Matt Stafford and the rest of that Rams offense have done well enough in Cooper Kupp’s absence, but there is no doubt that this group still has a lot of room to improve. Fortunately, they still have one of the best offensive minds in the game cooking up schemes for them.
9. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week #14)
The Vikings offense looked great this week—with the obvious exception of their two-minute offense, which we have to dock them for. Justin Jefferson is still tops in the league, but now that they are 0-3 to start the year, the questions are going to start to swirl once again around the viability of having Kirk Cousins as your starting quarterback.
8. Detroit Lions (Last Week #4)
The Detroit Lions offense wasn’t quite as crisp execution-wise as it has been so far in 2023, but it did well to control the game against a strong Falcons D. Amon-Ra St. Brown continues to make his case to be among the top wideouts in the game, going for nine catches and 102 yards, making up nearly half of the Lions passing offense.
7. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week #3)
Jalen Hurts wasn’t perfect this week against the Bucs, but he didn’t have to be. The Eagles offense is steady as they come and continues to wear down opposing defenses with the best of them.
6. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week #12)
Big jump this week for the Seahawks going from 12th to 6th, but when you drop a nice 37-spot that is to be expected. Even if it is against the Panthers.
5. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week #8)
Though they nearly managed to choke the game away, the Chargers were finally able to get in the win column against the Vikings this week and that offense was humming. Justin Herbert was nearly perfect, which it seems he’ll have to be is L.A. is going to have any chance of contending this year.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week #6)
Taylor Swift was in the building and all things were coming up Chiefs this week as they hosted the lowly Chicago Bears. Mahomes looks like he is finally finding some rhythm with his latest crop of wide receivers to complement Travis Kelce’s production.
3. Buffalo Bills (Last Week #7)
The Buffalo Bills offense is back. After a slow start Week 1, Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and co. are rounding into form. They’ve put up 38 and 37 points in consecutive weeks and look like the crew we all expected coming into the year.
2. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week #2)
While there were some serious contenders to move up into the two spot, it is hard to knock the Niners after dropping another 30-point performance in another dominating win. The offense is firing on all cylinders and it looks like teams are going to have a hard time keeping up with them all year.
1. Miami Dolphins (Last Week #1)
The Miami Dolphins have firmly established themselves as the number one offense in the league after its dynamic performance against the Broncos Week 2. 70 points on 71 plays? Enough said. This offense is a juggernaut.
