While it may have been a relatively low-scoring Week 9, there was plenty of action from the league’s top wideouts. Now let’s take some time to reflect and look around the NFL to evaluate where each team’s wide receiver 1 ranks.
32. Carolina Panthers D.J. Chark Jr. (Last Week #29)
D.J. Chark Jr. stunk it up for the Panthers again this week, catching just two passes for a pathetic nine yards against the Colts. Somehow—in the process, he banged up his elbow too, and is expected to miss some time… Which at this point might be good for Carolina.
31. Kansas City Chiefs Skyy Moore (Last Week #32)
At least Skyy Moore didn’t have any critical, game-blowing drops this week… But he still only managed to go for two catches for 33 yards during the Chiefs NFL Germany matchup with Miami.
30. Arizona Cardinals Marquise Brown (Last Week #22)
It was all bad for the Cardinals offensively this week with Clayton Tune at quarterback and Marquise Brown was no exception. This was about as bad as it gets, but we are giving Brown a little bit of leniency considering the circumstances.

29. Las Vegas Raiders Davante Adams (Last Week #28)
Who would’ve thought that we’d have Davante Adams towards the bottom of the wide receiver barrel for multiple weeks this season? It was another bad week for him—even with Josh McDaniels out of the picture, as he finished with four catches for 34 yards against the Giants.
28. New England Patriots JuJu Smith-Schuster (Last Week N/A)
28. New England Patriots JuJu Smith-Schuster (Last Week N/A)
At this point, it is safe to say that Devante Parker is out as the Patriots number one option and Kendrick Bourne would’ve been in, as he’s looked much better than Parker in recent weeks, but with Bourne tearing his ACL Week 8, that duty has fallen to JuJu.
He showed some flashes of his former Steelers self this week and finished with six catches for 51 yards.
27. Baltimore Ravens Zay Flowers (Last Week #27)
After what looked like a season-defining turnaround, Zay Flowers had a couple quiet weeks in a row now, despite the Ravens playing dominant football as a team.
26. New York Giants Darius Slayton (Last Week #30)
It was another challenging week for the Giants offense, as they are now down to Tommy Devito at quarterback, but Darius Slayton actually managed to put up one of his better games of the season against Las Vegas this week. He finished with four catches for 59 yards.
25. Pittsburgh Steelers Geroge Pickens (Last Week #20)
After only making one catch in Week 8, George Pickens was fixing for some redemption against the Titans on Thursday Night Football, but he and his fantasy owners were left sorely disappointed as he finished with two catches this time, but for -1 yards.
24. Green Bay Packers Romeo Doubs (Last Week #21)
It was a big week for the Packers, as they finally got back in the win column, but Romeo Doubs was quiet catching just three passes for 36 yards.
23. Seattle Seahawks DK Metcalf (Last Week N/A)
Well, not a lot went right for Seattle—or DK Metcalf against the Ravens this week, as their lead receiver was held to just one reception, but to his credit, he did manage to get bang for his buck as it went for 50 yards.
22. Los Angeles Rams Cooper Kupp (Last Week #18)
After a couple of bad weeks in a row, people were expecting Cooper Kupp to turn it around, but with Matt Stafford out that proved to be too tall of a task. He was quiet again in Week 9 against the Packers, catching two passes for 48 yards.
21. Atlanta Falcons Mack Hollins (Last Week N/A)
With Drake London sidelined by a groin injury, Mack Hollins was slotted into wide receiver 1 duties this past week against the Vikings. He was largely held in check, but managed to chip in three receptions for 36 yards.
20. Chicago Bears D.J. Moore (Last Week #15)
D.J. Moore has struggled to build any sort of serious rapport with Tyson Bagent in Justin Fields’s absence. The Bears WR1 finished Week 9 with just three catches for 44 yards.
19. Houston Texans Nico Collins (Last Week #26)
Nico Collins had a nice showing during the Texans high-flying barnburner with the Buccaneers. He didn’t have the monster numbers that some of the other pass-catchers in his cohort did, but three receptions for 54 yards and a score is respectable nonetheless.
18. New Orleans Saints Chris Olave (Last Week #25)
Chris Olave led the Saints in receiving during a strange outing against the Bears. He posted six catches for 46 yards, and one touchdown.
17. BYE Denver Broncos Courtland Sutton (Last Week #16)
Courtland Sutton and the Broncos were on bye this week, but they looked like they were starting to turn a corner of late. They’ll have a good opportunity to show that on the national stage next week, playing against Buffalo on Monday Night Football.
16. BYE Jacksonville Jaguars Calvin Ridley (Last Week #19)
Calvin Ridley got a slight bump this week while his team was on the bye because of a few other performances around the league, but he’ll get a chance to prove next week, when the Jags host the 49ers.
15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mike Evans (Last Week #14)
Even during his quiet games, Mike Evans finds a way to make an impact. He hauled in four catches for 87 yards in a crazy, last-second loss to Houston.
14. Indianapolis Colts Michael Pittman Jr. (Last Week #13)
Michael Pittman had another solid showing for the Colts this week, as the speedy wideout hauled in eight catches for 64 yards in an easy win.
13. Minnesota Vikings Jordan Addison (Last Week #11)
Jordan Addison was slightly quieter this week, but considering Minnesota was down to its second-string—then third-string quarterback, he deserves credit for his five-catch, 52-yard performance. Especially because it came in a win.
12. New York Jets Garrett Wilson (Last Week #7)
Garrett Wilson’s seven catches for 80 yards is particularly impressive with how bad the Jets offense has been over the past few weeks, but he did also cough of a fumble at critical point in the game that further shifted the momentum towards Los Angeles.
11. Washington Commanders Terry McLaurin (Last Week #10)
Terry McLaurin has been very steady for the Commanders all season long and Week 9 was no exception. McLaurin posted a five-catch, 73-yard line.
10. Los Angeles Chargers Keenan Allen (Last Week #12)
On top of another solid performance, Keenan Allen made a couple of impressive catches this week against the Jets. The one he snagged down the sideline was insane—and came at a critical juncture in the game.
When all was said and done, the Chargers star receiver finished the night with eight catches for 77 yards in a winning effort.
9. BYE San Francisco 49ers Brandon Aiyuk (Last Week #9)
With the 49ers rested and poised to regroup, Brandon Aiyuk should be in a good spot to continue to build on what has already been a successful year for him as an individual. San Fran is headed to Jacksonville this week, where he should have a favorable match up against a questionable Jaguars secondary.
8. Tennessee Titans Deandre Hopkins (Last Week #5)
Deandre Hopkins was good against Pittsburgh, but his numbers were modest. He and Will Levis connected four times for 60 yards in what was largely a defensive struggle.
7. BYE Detroit Lions Amon-Ra St. Brown (Last Week #6)
Amon-Ra St. Brown has proven himself as one of the top wideouts in the game today. It will be interesting to see how he follows up his six-reception, 108-yard Monday Night Football performance this week against the Chargers.
6. Cleveland Browns Amari Cooper (Last Week #24)
What a game for the Browns and Amari Cooper, who torched the lowly Cardinals all afternoon, finishing with five catches for 139 yards and one score, which he dutifully hauled in off a well-placed deflection by Denzel Ward.
5. Cincinnati Bengals Ja’Marr Chase (Last Week #4)
Ja’Marr Chase was pretty quiet this week to his standards, but that was largely because of all the opportunities he was opening for his teammate Tee Higgins, who went for over 100 yards.
In addition to drawing a ton of secondary attention, Chase also chipped in four catches for 41 yards in a convincing win over the Bills.
4. Miami Dolphins Tyreek Hill (Last Week #1)
Week 9 was a relatively modest showing from Tyreek Hill, but he still managed to lead the Dolphins in receiving against his former team—and one of the league’s top defenses, catching eight passes for 62 yards.
3. Buffalo Bills Stefon Diggs (Last Week #8)
Stefon Diggs had another huge week for his struggling Bills team. He was really the only consistent pass catcher for Buffalo against Cinci and made a couple of impressive catch-and-run efforts.
Diggs finished the contest with six catches for 86 yards and a score.
2. Philadelphia Eagles AJ Brown (Last Week #2)
While the stat line may look modest—that is only because of the insane standards that AJ Brown as set of late. Otherwise, seven catches for 66 yards and a score would be making a whole lot more noise.
1. Dallas Cowboys CeeDee Lamb (Last Week #3)
CeeDee Lamb was a monster again this week and put up huge numbers against the Eagles. He finished with 11 receptions for 191 and almost a game-winning touchdown in the final seconds of the game.
