Week 8 is officially a wrap. Now it is time to take a look around the NFL and evaluate where each team’s top wide receiver ranks.
32. Kansas City Chiefs Skyy Moore (Last Week #31)
If it wasn’t bad enough that Skyy Moore has been a complete nonfactor in the Chiefs offense thus far in 2023, he’s since taken it up a level by blowing a crucial catch and fourth down conversion in the endzone against the Broncos.
31. New England Patriots Devante Parker (Last Week #32)
Devante Parker has been a complete bust for New England this year. He had another one-catch performance, though, at least this time it was for double-digit yards. 14 to be exact.
30. New York Giants Darius Slayton (Last Week #30)
Considering the state of the Giants passing game after losing Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor to injury, I suppose Slayton deserves a minor pass. Or… He would if one catch for -1 yards was that much worse than his normal performance.

29. Carolina Panthers D.J. Chark Jr. (Last Week #29)
D.J. Chark Jr. has been a crushing disappointment for Carolina this year. They brought him in to serve as a reliable option for Bryce Young, but too often he’s left his young quarterback hanging. This week, it was two catches for 23 yards.
28. Las Vegas Raiders Davante Adams (Last Week #20)
While his talent is undeniable, something has clearly been off with Davante Adams this year. The Raiders All-Pro managed just one catch for 11 yards on Monday Night Football as part of that terrible Vegas offense.
27. Baltimore Ravens Zay Flowers (Last Week #19)
Zay Flowers regressed a bit this week. The Ravens rookie finished the afternoon with five catches for only 19 yards.
26. Houston Texans Nico Collins (Last Week #12)
Nico Collins had a relatively quiet afternoon considering he was matched up with a weak Panthers defense. Houston’s young receiver ended with just four catches for 30 yards.
25. New Orleans Saints Chris Olave (Last Week #27)
Chris Olave is starting to make a little bit more noise of late, though he did take a backseat to Rashid Shaheed and Michael Thomas this week. Olave put up five catches for 46 yards against Indy.
24. Cleveland Browns Amari Cooper (Last Week #25)
Amari Cooper was impressive this week considering the Browns quarterback situation. He managed to put up a respectable six-catch, 89 yard performance in the loss.
23. Seattle Seahawks Tyler Lockett (Last Week #26)
This is the Tyler Lockett we’ve grown accustomed to seeing in recent years. With Metcalf still easing his way back towards full strength, Lockett really stepped up this week, snagging eight catches for 81 yards and one touchdown.
22. Arizona Cardinals Marquise Brown (Last Week #24)
Marquise Brown, to his credit, has been battling through it this year with Kyler Murray likely missing the entire season. Brown found his way into the endzone this week, but it was another modest showing otherwise, as he totaled 33 yards on six catches in a game that was never close.
21. Green Bay Packers Romeo Doubs (Last Week #23)
Romeo Doubs has had the deck stacked against him this year with the way the Packers offense looks with Jordan Love at the helm and Christian Watson in and out of the lineup. Doubs was the lone touchdown scorer for Green Bay this week, finishing with four catches for 18 yards and the aforementioned score.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers Geroge Pickens (Last Week #10)
George Pickens only secured one pass this week, but with the injury to Kenny Pickett, he deserves a bit of a pass. Plus it was a 22-yarder for the Steelers only touchdown on the afternoon.
19. Jacksonville Jaguars Calvin Ridley (Last Week #28)
Considering how good Jacksonville has looked of late, it is a bit of a mystery why Calvin Ridley has been such a nonfactor. He looked much better this week, as the Jags secured their fifth straight win this week, with the star receiver finishing with six catches for 83 yards.
18. Los Angeles Rams Cooper Kupp (Last Week #4)
Cooper Kupp has now had a couple of bad weeks in a row, he managed just four catches for 21 yards against a strong Cowboys defense.
17. Atlanta Falcons Drake London (Last Week #16)
Drake London is starting to find a little bit of consistency in this turbulent Falcons offense. The physically imposing wide out managed to haul in five catches for 55 yards against Tennessee in Week 8.
16. Denver Broncos Courtland Sutton (Last Week #21)
Sutton didn’t put up huge numbers this week, but he did manage to secure a pivotal touchdown catch that helped Denver secure the upset victory over Kansas City.
15. Chicago Bears D.J. Moore (Last Week #15)
Another modest performance from D.J. Moore, who, in his defense, has been catching passes from Tyson Bagent. The Bear’s star finished with four catches for 55 yards.
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mike Evans (Last Week #6)
Mike Evans has been a reliable security blanket for Baker Mayfield all season. The perennial Pro Bowler only had three for 39 this week, but did manage to find his way into the endzone.
13. Indianapolis Colts Michael Pittman Jr. (Last Week #14)
Michael Pittman found his way back into the endzone yet again this week, as he’s become a go-to option for Gardner Minshew. He also tacked on eight catches for 40 yards.
12. Los Angeles Chargers Keenan Allen (Last Week #11)
Keenan Allen had another steady performance this week, snagging eight catches for 69 yards in Los Angeles’s blowout win over the Bears.
11. Minnesota Vikings Jordan Addison (Last Week #16)
Jordan Addison had another big game in Justin Jefferson’s absence. The rookie wideout torched Green Bay for seven catches, 82 yards, and a touchdown.
10. Washington Commanders Terry McLaurin (Last Week #13)
Terry McLaurin did have a couple of bad drops this week, but he and Sam Howell are really starting to build a nice connection. The two hooked up five times for 63 yards and a score.
9. San Francisco 49ers Brandon Aiyuk (Last Week #17)
Brandon Aiyuk had a strong showing for a 49ers offense that looked uncharacteristically lost this week. He posted a five-catch, 109-yard performance, albeit in a losing effort.
8. Buffalo Bills Stefon Diggs (Last Week #3)
Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen have been the only thing really working for the Bills offense of late. Buffalo’s star receiver was solid again this week, snagging nine passes for 70 yards in a much-need win against Tampa Bay.
7. New York Jets Garrett Wilson (Last Week #9)
Garrett Wilson was huge down the stretch this week against the Giants, making a couple of critical catches to help secure the comeback win for the Jets.
Not to mention that seven catches for 100 yards in this offense is almost as impressive 200 elsewhere.
6. Detroit Lions Amon-Ra St. Brown (Last Week #5)
Amon-Ra St. Brown is quietly becoming one of the most consistent producers in the league. Detroit’s young stud finished Monday Night Football with six receptions for 108 yards.
5. Tennessee Titans Deandre Hopkins (Last Week #22)
Tennessee has to be hoping that this is a sign of things to come for Deandre Hopkins, as he erupted during Will Levis’s debut for four catches, 128 yards, and three touchdowns.
4. Cincinnati Bengals Ja’Marr Chase (Last Week #8)
With Joe Burrow looking like he is back at 100% Ja’Marr Chase is really starting to get rolling. The Cinci star ran wild against the 49ers secondary for 10 catches, 100 yards, and one touchdown.
3. Dallas Cowboys CeeDee Lamb (Last Week #7)
3. Dallas Cowboys CeeDee Lamb (Last Week #7)
2. Philadelphia Eagles AJ Brown (Last Week #2)
A.J. Brown has been completely unstoppable ever since his sideline blow-up with Jalen Hurts. He went over 125 yards again with his eight-catch 130-yard, two-score showing against the Commanders. For those counting at home that is now six straight games!
1. Miami Dolphins Tyreek Hill (Last Week #1)
Look at that, another week and another monster outing for Tyreek Hill. Miami’s star receiver torched New England to the tune of eight catches for 112 yards and one score.
