Week 6 is officially a wrap—let’s take a look around the league at where every team’s signal caller stands.
32. New England Patriots Mac Jones (Last Week #32)
It has gotten as bad as it possibly can be for Mac Jones and the New England Patriots. Once again, the Patriots QB struggled all game with decision-making and his play single-handedly made the New England loss a near-definite.
31. Denver Broncos Russell Wilson (Last Week #29)
Russel Wilson had another horrible showing this week, the Broncos quarterback completed just 13 of 22 attempts for a measly 95 yards. Tack on a 1:2 TD to INT ratio and this has to be one of the worst games of his career.
30. Chicago Bears Justin Fields (Last Week #14)
After two consecutive strong showings, Justin Field had a rough outing. The Bears second-year quarterback completed six of 10 passes for 58 yards and an interception before exiting the game with a thumb injury that will likely put him out of action for a few weeks.

29. BYE Green Bay Packers Jordan Love (Last Week #27)
Jordan Love and the Packers needed a bye in a bad way this week after their Week 5 showing. Let’s see if they can pick up the pieces next week on the road in Denver.
28. New York Giants Tyrod Taylor (Last Week #N/A)
Credit to Tyrod, he played well enough to give the Giants a chance to win during his first start this season. Taylor completed 24 of 36 passes for 200 yards and protected the football well enough but without any real ability to move the ball down the field New York’s offense is going to be incredibly limited.
27. Arizona Cardinals Joshua Dobbs (Last Week #22)
Joshua Dobbs has continued his free fall in the rankings, as he followed up his weak performance against the Bengals with another stinker against the Rams. Arizona’s quarterback completed just 21 of 31 for 235 and a pick.
26. Cleveland Browns PJ Walker (Last Week N/A)
If PJ Walker getting the start this week wasn’t a big enough surprise, how about him playing decently enough to knock off the 49ers? “Decently enough,” however, is where the praise ends, as the Brown’s backup did total less than 200 yards on 34 attempts, tossed two picks, and largely played a complementary role alongside an amazing showing from Cleveland’s defense
25. Las Vegas Raiders Jimmy Garoppolo (Last Week #23)
Jimmy Garoppolo had another mediocre showing in Week 6 against the Patriots, completing 14 of 22 passes for 162 yards, one touchdown, and one interception before getting replaced by Brian Hoyer after a back injury.
24. Atlanta Falcons Desmond Ridder (Last Week #21)
Desmond Ridder followed up a career-best outing with a real dud against the Commanders. Atlanta asked a lot of Ridder, as he had 47 attempts, and subsequently struggled to protect the ball throwing three interceptions.
23. Tennessee Titans Ryan Tannehill (Last Week #25)
Ryan Tannehill did a nice job bouncing back after a slow start in London, unfortunately, the Titans quarterback got injured down the stretch and may now end up missing several games.
22. New York Jets Zach Wilson (Last Week #18)
The New York Jets played extremely well this week knocking off Philly, but it was no thanks to Zach Wilson, who was horrible all night. The only thing that seems to be working for Wilson is that his teammates seem to be extra motivated to win in spite of him.
21. Carolina Panthers Bryce Young (Last Week #28)
Bryce Young is continuing to improve, albeit slightly, week by week. There wasn’t a ton of pressure on him in this one with Miami having remained firmly in the driver seat for nearly the entirety of the contest, but he performed okay, completing 23 of 28 for 217 yards and a touchdown with no INTs.
20. BYE Pittsburgh Steelers Kenny Pickett (Last Week #26)
Kenny Pickett got a much-needed rest this week while his team was on the bye. He’ll have a tough match-up on the road this week, going against the Rams in Los Angeles.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Baker Mayfield (Last Week #12)
After a great start to the season, it is starting to look like Baker Mayfield may be coming back down to earth—at least in terms of being able to perform against the top teams in the league. The Tampa Bay quarterback got beat down all game and ended up 19 for 37 for just 206 yards, one interception, and no touchdowns.
18. Minnesota Vikings Kirk Cousins (Last Week #20)
Kirk Cousins played just well enough this week for the Vikings to keep their season on life support posting a Justin Jefferson-less win against the Bears. Granted, he only outdueled Tyson Bagent for most of the afternoon, but still!
17. Houston Texans C.J. Stroud (Last Week #15)
He hasn’t had any earth-shattering performances thus far, but C.J. Stroud has looked exceptionally competent during the first chunk of his rookie season. The Texans quarterback did exactly that Week 6, completing 13 of 27 for 199 yards and two touchdowns to just one INT.
16. Indianapolis Colts Gardner Minshew (Last Week N/A)
Once again, Gardner Minshew was slotted into the action, with Anthony Richardson sidelined by an injury, and he fared alright. He went for over 239 yards and a touchdown, but it took him 55 attempts and he did surrender three interceptions in the process.
15. Jacksonville Jaguars Trevor Lawrence (Last Week #16)
It was a strong showing from the Jaguars quarterback, Trevor Lawrence this week as he led Jacksonville to a 37-20 AFC South W against the Colts. He threw the ball 30 times, completing 20 for 181 yards and two touchdowns, and controlled the flow of the game all afternoon, really only making a couple of bad mistakes, including his one interception.
14. Washington Commanders Sam Howell (Last Week #13)
Sam Howell gets a slight bump this week for the mammoth counting numbers he put up against the Bears, but take them with a grain of salt, as this game was never particularly close.
Still—it is hard to besmirch a first-year starter when he goes for 388 yards and two touchdowns, with only one pick.
13. New Orleans Saints Derek Carr (Last Week #19)
Week 6 was a weird one for Derek Carr and the Saints. He had one of his best statistical games of the year, with a mammoth 33 completions for 329 yards and a touchdown, but the team only managed 13 points in the loss.
12. Dallas Cowboys Dak Prescott (Last Week #24)
Monday Night Football was a good bounce-back performance for Dak Prescott. He connected early and often with CeeDee Lamb to find a rhythm and the two combined for seven catches for 117 yards. Dak even made a few plays with his legs, something he’s been hesitant to do ever since the nasty injury he suffered scrambling a couple of years back.
Also, kudos to Dallas’ QB1 for then not losing his cool following a muffed punt in the beginning of the fourth quarter that allowed LA to tie it back up. Prescott showed great poise through out the entire second half of that game.
11. Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson (Last Week #10)
The Ravens gutted out a tough win against the Titans across the pond this week—in part thanks to a strong outing from their dual-threat quarterback. Jackson completed 70% of his passes for 223 yards and one touchdown to one interception while chipping in 62 yards on the ground.
10. Los Angeles Rams Matt Stafford (Last Week #11)
Matt Stafford seems to be loving the return of his go-to target, Cooper Kupp. He hooked up with the speed wide receiver seven times for 148 yards and a touchdown, leading the Rams to a convincing 26-9 win.
9. Seattle Seahawks Geno Smith (Last Week #7)
Geno and the Seahawks offense really moved the ball well this week. Smith was 27 of 41 for 323 yards but wasn’t able to convert that into many points and he was careless with the football with two interceptions.
8. San Francisco 4 9ers Brock Purdy (Last Week #3)
The 49ers lost in shocking fashion this week to a Browns team that was down to its third-string quarterback and Brock Purdy is not without blame. He had his worst game as a pro, completing 12 of 27 for 125 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
7. Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow (Last Week #9)
It was a relatively quiet afternoon for Joe Burrow, particularly after the first couple of drives, but the Bengals star quarterback is starting to get his mobility back, something much needed after the way his calf injury limited him to start the year.
6. Los Angeles Chargers Justin Herbert (Last Week #8)
It is tough to blame the Chargers’ loss squarely on Justin Herbert, as he was under extreme duress all night and played fairly well all things considered, completing 22 of 37 for 227 yards and two touchdowns to one INT.
And if you watch back that final, game-sealing pick, he was getting absolutely mauled. LA needs to find a way to protect its young quarterback.
5. Buffalo Bills Josh Allen (Last Week #6)
The Giants defense gave Josh Allen fits all game, but he did well to help Buffalo gut out a win, throwing for 169 yards and two touchdowns to one interception.
4. Philadelphia Eagles Jalen Hurts (Last Week #2)
Granted, it came against a tough Jets defense, but Jalen Hurts left a lot to be desired with his performance Week 6, as he turned the ball over three times, the most in his professional career.
3. Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes (Last Week #1)
Another extremely casual “down week” for Patrick Mahomes, as he completed 30 of 40 passes for 306 yards and one touchdown to one INT.
2. Detroit Lions Jared Goff (Last Week #5)
Week 6 was a huge one for Jared Goff and the Lions, as Detroit took care of business against a solid Bucs team. Goff really had to shoulder the load, as an injury to David Montgomery limited the Lions rushing attack to 40 yards. Goff erupted for 353 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.
1. Miami Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa (Last Week #4)
Tua Tagovailoa continued his hot streak this week, shredding an admittedly weak Panthers defense for 262 yards and three touchdowns, in route to an easy 42-21 win.
